Decent restaurant in Lido di Ostia. Sells a lot of American/Mexican food. Spare ribs good but could have been a bit more tender. Served on a plate that is far too small. Chicken dry. Ok prices for food, wine expensive. Young waiters, nice and some in training when I was there. Decent service. Decent place for a not too exciting culinary experience.

Tijdens onze vakantieweek in Ostia gegeten bij Old Wild West. Het was heerlijk weer, dus konden we fijn buiten zitten. De ontvangst en bediening was dik in orde. Mijn vrouw en ik kozen voor de “Western Grill” voor 2 personen. Het bestond uit een mixed grill met 4 soorten heerlijk vlees, smaakvolle gegrilde groenten en gefrituurde aardappels met schil. Dit laatste was wel bijzonder, maar het smaakte voortreffelijk. De totale portie was royaal. We hebben lekker gegeten en was het een fijne ervaring.

Abbiamo cenato in questo fast food al centro di Ostia dove la qualità non la fa da padrona ma in compenso i bambini hanno un pò di spazio per giocare.

25/06/2025: Essen sehr gut, Preis gehoben, aber ok. Service lieblos, kein bitte und danke, keine Entschuldigung weil Antipasti des Tsges aus waren. Aber dass der GRAPPA aus war, in einem italienischen Restaurant, habe ich noch nie erlebt!

13/08/2025: Il trapezzino in Ladispoli, a nice place with friendly owners. The trapezzino is a stuffed bread pocket: we tried the one with chicken Cacciatore, very good! The one with fresh burrata, perhaps more suitable for the summer season, still pleasant. The least favorite one was with the meatballs, even the supply didn't taste good. I drank a decent vermouth. Consistent price. Perhaps, the only flaw is the wine list, in my humble opinion not suitable for the type of place. In essence, a pleasant experience to repeat.
01/08/2025: Brilliant idea, reasonable prices, and friendly service make it a magical place, truly delicious in every way! Highly recommended; if you're passing by, stop by! The dough is incredibly light, and the ingredients are truly delicious 🤤. I recommend the meatball with tomato sauce. Amazing.
