05/04/2025: Flavors that recall smells that bring to mind places and the magic of some dishes are the experience I love to have when I evaluate a restaurant.
Respect for tradition, wise use of raw materials and mastery in combining them.
There are places that remain imprinted in the memory with wonderful images as only Nature can provide.
But there are places that remain imprinted in the soul and heart because they are places made by people who give you their love and passion through their art and kindness.
People whose eyes shine so deeply that they involve you in every moment and make your experience a journey through the flavors of the soul.
This and much more is "La. Stuzzicantina", an incredibly welcoming place, full of love, purity and true feelings that tell the story of Italian food and wine.
At Stuzzicantina there is a wonderful copy, Marco and Paola, who infuses all his heart, passion but above all love into what he does.
Let's start with a more than exquisite mixed appetizer that leaves those who taste it in silence.
A perfect symposium of flavors and aromas that inebriate the senses, the heart and the soul.
Dishes rich in flavors that persist on the palate but above all in the soul and heart that fill the voids with intense emotions.
Art, mastery and passion are the tools that live in the hands of the chef and shine through in all the dishes.
Dishes that fully respect the flavors of the raw materials which are enhanced by a combination of perfectly calibrated elements.
An incredible balance also supported by the spectacular black truffle used to finish many dishes including ricotta accompanied by a sensational black truffle.
The very sweet and super nice chef takes care of the kitchen excellently, managing to serve all the tables like a metronome at an incredible level of excellence.
The red wine was excellent, a Primitivo from Puglia, which was recommended to us by the excellent Marco, the host.
Full-bodied, firm, deep, persistent on the palate and decisive in the mouth, it pushes all the flavors in every bite, binding perfectly with the ingredients.
In the glass it impresses with its intense and vibrant color.
On the nose the scents perceived recall ripe red fruit, such as black cherry and plum.
We continue with a homemade fettuccine with very fresh duck eggs (see photo) with butter and black truffle.
If there is any level higher than perfection, this would be exactly the case.
The common denominator of each dish was the perfect symbiosis of flavours, aromas and above all of the ingredients, linked together in a masterful way.
Here you will find a concert of perfection and uniqueness that can only be heard and admired by those with a heart full of love for good things.
The flavor of each dish that is prepared is like a sweet caress from a mother to her child as soon as he wakes up in the morning.
This is a place that gives dreams and sweeps away regrets, makes you truly find freedom, makes you live and feel as if it were a friend sought for a long time and finally found, A set of simple and pure flavors that remain forever.
This is why thanksgiving is for what will be and not just for what has been.
This is the "Stuzzicantina", where tomorrow is always better than yesterday.
Tomorrow will be another day, with other joys, other happiness together with the wait to return to Marco and Paola.
