The quality of the ingredients is good, but I struggled to find the settings in the dishes I saw in the photos on the website. The setting, in some ways, distorts the Ladin warmth we love so much. Nothing to write home about.

A typical mountain hut where you can enjoy local specialties at an excellent price. The road leading to it is clearly visible from the center of Moena and is almost entirely lit. The last stretch, unlit, offers a panoramic view of the entire town.

Ristorante Malga Peniola is a restaurant that transports you to another era.
Spacious, both inside and out, it offers a wide-ranging menu with traditional savory and sweet dishes, generous portions, fair prices, and excellent quality ingredients.
The staff are truly welcoming and friendly, and the mulled wine is excellent.
They enjoy a breathtaking view; the road to get there is a bit narrow but manageable.
The nearby church is small but beautiful, with an interesting history behind it.

We arrived at this small village after a quick Google search and relied on the reviews.
It was a wonderful discovery.
Let's start with the breathtaking view; we were welcomed by Maurizio, who immediately told us about their family restaurant, around an open fire, offering mulled wine.
The restaurant is historic, very welcoming, and full of memories.
The dishes are true specialties, cooked with the tangible desire to take home a historic local experience for the diner.
The cured meats, the cheeses, the venison shank—you'd have to return every evening to try everything.
