Pros:
- Typical restaurant made entirely of wood, clean, with home cooking (they do everything themselves with genuine products) and a friendly welcome
- No menu... they immediately bring you mixed starters with their own cured meats and top cheeses, 3 first courses, one better than the other, complete with homemade pasta, 3 second courses (polenta with lamb, shank, roast with balsamic vinegar)
- the tiramisu is light and the portions are mega (cost €5)
Defects:
- a 750ml bottle of water (without labels or cap so I think of the source) costs €2.80
- they should communicate first what the fixed menu consists of and the price
- make clearer calculations... 3 adults and 1 child spent €115 but without having a detailed bill so I still haven't understood how much the fixed menu costs (I think €20 without dessert and drinks)

I have no feedback on the rooms but we had dinner last night with friends. Really very good food and excellent quality products. The menu is a tasting menu and decided by them but starting from the various starters and continuing with 3 first courses (I couldn't say what was better than the other but the priest strangles were spectacular) and then continuing with 3 second courses. Very nice and frank lady. We had 3 dogs with us, who although they were not particularly "nice" to the owner, were nevertheless welcome. Top if we return to the area we will happily return. Highly recommended

It was a pleasure to stay at the San Martino inn. Lina and Fabrizio are very special and ironic people, they welcomed us as if we were family, this place no longer exists to be safeguarded, as far as food is concerned, for those on a diet you must think again from the appetizer, to the first courses and desserts, Fabrizio and spectacular research and care of the same in this inn there is no supermarket and consumerism factor, but attention to people and therefore and much more, as far as the rooms are concerned they are a wedding favor and the view from the balcony of the mountains and the Noce river is very suggestive, we thank you once again for your hospitality on our part Michele and Maria.

Well what can I say... I share the owner's point of view... no cell phone at dinner and even though I don't absolutely despise dogs, however where you eat they can bother someone... then there are many places to eat, I'm there I come back often and willingly.

The place enjoys a beautiful panorama. Even though we hadn't booked, the lady practically opened it for us. Perfect tasting menu. Traditional dishes. Very generous portions. Homemade ingredients. The desserts prepared by the lady's husband are also excellent. Plus enjoyable conversation. There are also rooms available for the stay. Absolutely worth trying.

Locanda San Martino is a certainty as always... it's been more than 10 years now that when we come up to Val di Sole we stop at the inn, over the years, as is right, the menu has changed but the goodness and authenticity of the dishes are always the same excellent I would say. Here you don't order, here it's a fixed menu..., there's that and that's what you eat. Abundant dishes, don't expect the food of a starred restaurant, here is the substance. 2 things if you have to come here with the dog, better not, not because the owner doesn't like dogs but because, as the owner says, they could bother other customers. Vegans or vegetarians, I'm sorry for them, but this is not their restaurant, they don't make dishes of that kind!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO THOSE WHO WANT TO EAT GOOD AND PLENTY, I forgot the price is more than honest, in fact very honest.

Very refined in mountain style, family welcome. Three-course fixed menu, starter, first course, second course with wine, water, 30 euros. Nothing to say about the authenticity of the products, but in my opinion too seasoned with too tasty sauces.

Locale curato caratteristico , immerso nel verde, Lina ti mette subito a tuo agio . Fabrizio lo chef proprietario, cura tutto, prodotti, a km0 che emozionano , salumi top ,primi rigorosamente fatti in casa,, carni che emozionano (brasato di somarello emozionante) che dire da tornare sicuramente. Ps i cellulari si lasciano fuori , scelta della locanda qua si viene per mangiare non per ciattare,

La locanda è a conduzione familiare, la signora che accoglie i clienti all'inizio sembra un pò stravagante. Infatti esordisce dicendo di voler raccoglie i cellulari in un cesto per evitare distrazioni, ma poi si rivela persona estroversa e simpatica. Abbiamo pranzato abbondantemente, dagli antipasti ai primi ai secondi per finire con dolce e caffè. Tutti i piatti sono risultati gustosi e hanno soddisfatto anche i palati più sottili.
