La Stua In Levico terme

We had dinner in this typical restaurant in the center of Levico Terme, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of all the dishes we chose from appetizers to desserts, furthermore the staff is friendly and the environment is nice and relaxing. We highly recommend this restaurant!!

Sunday afternoon lunch for two after visiting the markets in the imperial park, welcoming place furnished with taste, kind and attentive staff, positive note they accept dogs in the room, large house appetizer with cured meats produced by them and Vezena cheeses served with rosti potatoes , plenty for two, very good spek and rosti, then the wife took the Tyrolean spatzli with spek, I took a trio of venison tagliatelle, spatzel, and crescents filled with very good polenta and soft cheese, then their specialty, potato grostel stuffed with smoked za and smoked caciotta accompanied by capuccio salad, divided in two, very tasty, then a coffee affogato and a long coffee, 1/2 of good house teroldego delka, two of water, I can say that I ate well and spent the money normally

We went to this restaurant at the end of November, already during the opening period of the Christmas Markets. We trusted the reviews and actually confirmed the excellent impression. From the outside it might just look like a bar, but the inside immediately welcomes you with a 'warm and familiar atmosphere. Wise management of both the kitchen and the dining room, with attentive but not oppressive service. We enjoyed two excellent platters, with cheeses accompanied by a spectacular homemade mustard and deer ham with blackcurrant jam....then some dumplings in broth that warm body and soul and a trio of first courses including ravioli filled with polenta.....we finished on a sweet note with the treccia mochena, a typical dessert of the area. We hope to return to this restaurant soon.

La Stua is a typical Trentino restaurant with home cooking. Outside only 4 parking spaces near the entrance. They made us sit in the last internal room which reminded me a lot of my mother's living room and even the chandelier was the same! Regardless of my trip to the past, we ate really well. Typical and genuine cuisine, whose objective is not to take care of the plating but to satisfy the palate and fill the belly. Friendly and fast service. We tasted a grostel, a typical peasant dish: a potato rosti stuffed with cheese and speck. Then followed by homemade dumplings in broth and my wife with goulash, slightly spicy. I took the deer leg stew with taragna polenta, the meat was very soft. To finish on a sweet note, a slice of buckwheat cake and elderberry ice cream and a slice of mochena braid with vanilla ice cream. We left the restaurant full and satisfied with the excellent dinner and the not too salty bill. Goodbye Levico!

From the outside it may seem like a simple mountain restaurant, even quite small and spartan, but inside it has plenty of space, a well-kept environment and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We really liked the first courses and also the typical Rostel. The Treccia Mochena is delicious. Ps, the quantity of dishes for celiacs is also commendable!

Con qualche attenzione in più potrebbe migliorare parecchio. La location ha due facce. Dentro piccolo ma molto bello, fuori non l'ho trovato per niente invitante. Piatti tipici trentini fatti bene. La qualità l'ho trovata molto buona. Il servizio cordiale e veloce ma una cosa non mi è piaciuta. Sapendo che miei bambini non sono mangioni ho chiesto quanto fosse grande la cotoletta ordinata. Mi spiaceva pagare qualcosa che poi sarebbe avanzata. Dalle informazioni ricevute ne abbiamo ordinate due che puntualmente erano più grandi ed altrettanto puntualmente sono state mangiate a metà. Il prezzo per me è alto. Gli strangolapreti si è no 10 a 12 euro sono un furto. Mia mamma è trentina e anni fa quando riusciva ancora me li faceva. So bene cosa serve per farli. Nel complesso è un bel posto e si mangia bene ma il prezzo non lo giustifico. Troppo caro.

Siamo rimasti molto contenti di aver scelto La Stua per cena, é stato tutto perfetto: servizio gentile ed impeccabile ed i piatti che abbiamo preso erano tutti buonissimi. Super consigliato!
