John Caffè In Folgaria

It is absolutely the place to go in Folgaria!

Very welcoming, elegant, refined place, right in the center of Folgaria. We went in asking to have a look and we were satisfied, very kindly. The dessert counter immediately caught our attention, really inviting. The fireplace was a nice surprise, which warmed not only the room, but also the heart. Unfortunately we were in a bit of a hurry, but we will certainly return for dinner, after having had an aperitif first. See you soon!

Delicious strudel and linzer cake, recommended

We had a nice and good aperitif. Very friendly staff and a really clean and welcoming place. Highly recommended.

If it hadn't been for some waiter who seemed to be sleeping standing up (a guy who spoke Spanish) and who really made me and my wife feel a little uncomfortable, it would have been perfect... but I really felt the cabin atmosphere in mountain..and it was all very good, I will return but hoping for some operational improvements..bye

Avevo già recensito questo locale nel 2017 dandogli 5 stelle grazie alla qualità del cibo, dolci in particolare e del servizio. All'epoca la pasticceria era quella della rinomata pasticceria padovana Biasetto, alcuni anni dopo sono passati alla mantovana Antoniazzi, altrettanto valida, quest'ultima visita la pasticceria è cambiata ancora, e ahimè in peggio, abbiamo provato un paio di torte, lienzer e poker, entrambi nulla di speciale, e soprattutto molto lontane dalla qualità di Biasetto e Antoniazzi. Anche il toast e le cioccolate in tazza abbastanza mediocri. Anche il servizio un po' superficiale, le cioccolate in tazza se le sono dimenticate e abbiamo dovuto riordinarle. Peccato, il locale è sempre bello ed accogliente, meriterebbe prodotti e servizio di qualità più alta.

Definitely a very nice place, it is located in the center of the town of Folgaria. In my opinion, it is the most beautiful place in the centre. We had a quick snack with two types of cakes, the classic strudel and the buckwheat cake (the latter is nothing special, you can find the same ones in the supermarket); as for the strudel, it was served hot and was good.

Mi dispiace leggere recensioni negative in quanto, noi - sia l'anno scorso che quest'anno - ci siamo sempre trovati bene: che sia per una semplice sosta caffè, spuntino, aperitivo o dopo cena abbiamo sempre trovato qualità, cortesia e a volte anche consigli su come degustare al meglio cocktail ed amari! Inoltre la pasticceria è buonissima ... Per noi, una tappa obbligata a Folgaria!
