Il Caminetto In Transacqua

One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. I was almost moved to tears by the Tomahawk, it was so good. Plus, the signature dessert—smorum—is addictive. Updated 2/16/26: I stand by what I wrote two years ago: it's still fantastic.

I've been coming here for twenty years, but this is the first time I've tried this restaurant, and I recommend it wholeheartedly. We ate divinely.

A well-kept restaurant with friendly waiters. We tried the tartare, a couple of starters, a tartare, and a trio of desserts. Everything was delicious; the only downside was the €5 cover charge per person, and €2 more for more bread. Otherwise, it was a lovely evening.

A pizza with excellent quality dough, impeccable service, kind, smiling, and with great attention to the children. They brought paper, drawings, and games... a clean, welcoming atmosphere... I recommend it!!!!

I don't know if it's the best I've ever been to... but it's definitely the one I liked the most in this area. Friendliness, professionalism, and friendliness. Inside this place, where the aesthetic speaks for itself, you can spend a pleasant evening as a couple or with friends. The meat is excellent, the pizza is amazing... and the desserts are superb. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. In short, 5 stars because there weren't 10!

Very welcoming. They also take care of their little guests (a coloring crown, pencil case, appropriate forks, plastic cups, and a children's menu). Attentive service. Nice, clean place.

I've been to Ristorante Pizzeria Il Caminetto several times, and for me, it's undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in the area. The quality of the ingredients is truly high, and it shows in every dish: from the bread to the desserts, from the first courses to the second courses to the pizzas, everything is meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail. The dishes aren't just delicious to eat, they're also beautiful to look at. The pizzas are also special and always delicious. The atmosphere is modern, well-maintained, yet warm and welcoming. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, making you feel at ease right away. The location is also excellent: convenient outdoor parking and easy access, even with strollers and wheelchairs. I highly recommend it.

A very welcoming place with a beautiful panoramic view and modern mountain decor. They have a vegan and gluten-free menu, in addition to the standard menu. Prices are average, and the food is quality. I had the roast seitan, and it was really good, with a soft texture (different from the classic seitan). The blueberry, lavender, and prosecco sorbet was also delicious! The waitress was very knowledgeable and provided excellent service. You need to make a reservation, though, otherwise you won't find a table.

We stumbled upon this place by chance. My mother is celiac, and it's always a challenge to find a safe and certified place. It was a wonderful surprise: excellent food, beautiful and well-maintained venue, and TOP-notch service. Mrs. Lucia was courteous and incredibly sweet. We've already gotten several business cards. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
