Yesterday 01/03/2024 My family and I went for a stroll in Borgo Valsugana, now a normal stop on our trips to the mountains (we love Trentino). We left in the afternoon and took our strolls and, since we were in area, why go home right away? We then remembered that years ago we had gone to a pizza restaurant near Lake Levico and Caldonazzo but we couldn't remember the name, we only knew that it was on a small hill with a beautiful view of the lake. In the end, thanks to some Google searches, we managed to find it! One word Happy Days, a very appropriate name for our day to end on a high note. We had already come to eat at this restaurant years ago and were not disappointed. I can enthusiastically say that the bar has been raised even further. The staff were very kind at the reception, I hadn't seen something like this for years. What made the atmosphere even more beautiful was an elegantly dressed gentleman with a bow tie. I would say a waiter from other times, he knew how to pamper us with his kindness and availability until the beginning and end of our dinner. The dishes we ate were an appetizer based on typical Trentino products, delicious and to say the least. As a first course we ate the Canederli with butter and sage, really high quality, delicious. And as a second goulash with polenta and sauerkraut. I managed to finish it all but it was a little harder for my partner, but it was all really good and the portions were very generous. Now I get to the funny thing, I'm not a rich person or someone who gives tips (I've never done this given the waiters we have in some areas of the Veneto) I wanted to have the list of desserts and see the average price of each one to make a gesture, let's say "nice" to the gentleman with the bow tie (I wanted to nickname him that because of his sweet and very friendly manner). The lady from the staff arrives to take the order for the desserts, and I told him to put me in the price as if I had eaten a dessert to offer to him, or keep the cost of the dessert as a tip (since I didn't have any money in my wallet I wanted to do this). . At first he looked at me a little with perplexity, probably I hadn't explained myself well, the fact is that it was nice to see the waiter happy, perhaps a little taken aback by everything, but then I explained to him the reason for all this. I conclude by saying that in total we spent around 120 euros, but the cuisine is of a high standard, a great compliment also to the chef and his delicious dishes, and obviously also to all the restaurant staff. Thank you for allowing us to end the day as a true Happy Day! we will definitely come to visit you again!! Update 12/31/2024: We also went for New Year's Eve, and as always a guarantee! The only flaw was that this year I forgot to ask the name of that very kind waiter!

Good location...ample parking...the restaurant has an excellent view...the service is fast...I found the dishes very good...if I find myself in the area again, I will definitely stop again...

Capitati per caso dopo un giro al vicinissimo Lago.Panoramica dà mozzafiato locale forse un po’ da ringiovanire però Pulitissimo.Personale attento e disponibile abbiamo ordinato Cotoletta impanata con patatine e goulash con polenta,ingredienti molto Freschi e cucinati bene abbiamo anche voluto provare ad assaggiare la Pizza molto Buona

man merkt zwar das in diesen seitental das deutsch nur selten verstanden wird, aber der ober konnte recht gut deusch. das Ambiente war sehr sauber und gemütlich, frische kuchen in der Theke, Tische mit weisen tischdecken. sehr lekkeres essen. immer feundliches verhalten. das personal sehr gut angezogen . parkplatz vor der tür. mittag geöffnet. wintergarten.

Chose this restaurant based on the positive reviews which we also confirm. The homemade potato gnocchi with meat sauce are excellent, as is the classic lasagna. The same goes for the dumplings in broth and the cheese gnocchi with casoulet and crispy speck. The carne salada with potato tortel is really good. Even the desserts, the mochena braid and the tiramisu, did not disappoint expectations. Courteous and professional service. Absolutely worth trying.
