El Pael In Campitello di fassa

We recently spent our Christmas holiday in the region and decided to enjoy Christmas dinner at this lovely restaurant. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience! 3 of my family members chose the beef entree, which was prepared to perfection. I opted for the “Tenticula di Polpo” and it was superb! We all enjoyed a bottle of the Rosso Faye red wine which paired beautifully with our dinner. Christmas dinner would not be complete without dessert! We all enjoyed the house Christmas dessert special that included Pannatone with a pumpkin mousse - a true original. Thank you for making our Christmas dinner away from home a memorable experience!

Excellent food, refined atmosphere. Perhaps a little pricey; I'd recommend it for a once-in-a-lifetime or occasional meal, but I wouldn't return.

I'm a local, and if I had to choose a restaurant near where I live, I only have three I truly trust: this is one I always go to. The quality is excellent, the staff is incredibly kind, super professional, and very knowledgeable. The food is simply phenomenal. Highly recommended.

Comfortable and cozy atmosphere, attentive service, and top-notch courtesy. Superlative cheeses with a delightful introduction and detailed explanation. The first courses, with mushrooms, were delicious. The second courses, including venison and diaphragm, were exceptional! The owner and sommelier thoroughly satisfied us with the wine selection and entertained us with his expertise and friendliness. Prices are a little above average, but in line with the quality of the food and service. We'll definitely be back!

Recommended by more than one friend, I highly recommend it myself. I had lunch here with my two dogs, so we sat on the terrace. The atmosphere is very refined, both inside and out. The menu isn't extensive, but the dishes cater to all tastes, meticulously prepared and presented to be a feast for the eyes. Delicious dumplings. Excellent meat. The chocolate sphere is guaranteed to make a WOW, not to be missed! The wine list is excellent, with a wide selection, even for single glasses. The staff is very attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. An experience to be repeated as soon as possible!

A delightful culinary experience When we arrived in Canazei, we strolled downtown, and as everyone knows, the mountain air makes you hungry 😂😂😂 We looked on Trip to find a place to eat and were intrigued by this little restaurant. The atmosphere was truly welcoming, modern yet mountain-style, as it should be in places like this. The staff was immediately very friendly. We started ordering, and if we could, we would have chosen the entire menu 😂😂😂 Every dish was a discovery, but what we loved most was the flat meat served with mashed potatoes, red onion, and mustard, and the cheeses: a blue gin served with spiced bread, and an English cheese (Shropshire with port and raisins, served with raisins and dark chocolate). A riot of flavors!!! Highly recommended We'll definitely be back Thanks for the experience ♥️ N.B. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures of the dishes, only the gin to start, which was also excellent.

We had the menu, excellent food and very good wine recommendations as well as service.

A very pleasant restaurant. Simple in appearance, but the food is delicious. I was especially impressed by the presentation of the cheese platter and the fascinating story about the cheese collection.

We had lunch at El Pael. We appreciated the fact that they were flexible with the arrival time. We had meat (deer) and fish (salmon). Though oven-baked salmon is of course not very soft, I found this one especially dry and overcooked for my taste.
