We enjoyed the tasting menu plus accompanying wines. The food tasted wonderful and was presented beautifully. The local wines were unique and fitted the courses perfect. Sitting on the terras overlooking the Dolomites changing colors during sunset made it a perfect evening.

This restaurant in Canazei really won me over! The quality of the food, the excellent table service where what I ate was explained to me in great detail made my birthday truly pleasant and unforgettable. It will be an obligatory stop in my next stay in Val di Fassa. Congratulations to all of you!

I always appreciate high-quality catering and here in El Pael I felt at ease. The place is extremely well looked after from the internal lighting to the design of the seats up to the equipment. Externally it does not demonstrate the level it actually is. A particular detail, to be noticed immediately, is the writing engraved on each glass which shows the name of the wine you are drinking (or of the winery). This is also because the owner was "The Best Sommelier in Italy" in 2017. There are six of us at the table and shortly after taking the order we are served butter flavored with truffles and champignon mushrooms (an observation on the quantity, it was too little) and good bread products of various kinds. The dishes are of good quantity, with high quality ingredients and a good play of flavours, not at the level of a starred restaurant but on a very good path. The speed of the service should be noted, a very positive aspect together with the kindness and professionalism of the dining room staff. In my opinion, the best dish is the meat and a wonderful tagliatelle with smoked trout, but still, it's really EVERYTHING good, even excellent. However, if you come to Canazei and want an elegant and excellent restaurant, this is one of the best places. The quality/price ratio is suitable, super honest.
