A real surprise! The place is very rustic, but the piadinas are truly remarkable. I really enjoyed their "infuocata" (a type of flatbread) with Calabrian sauce and spicy salami, but what really sets them apart is the quality of their flatbreads: kudos, definitely not a given! For dessert, we tried the Linzer, which was a huge hit!

My wife and I have eaten there several times. The staff is super friendly and courteous, and the food is excellent, especially the piadinas or flatbreads made in dozens of variations, all at reasonable prices.

Hotel Garni Astoria

04/02/2026: We stayed at this hotel for a couple of days and it was simply a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, meticulously maintained, and impeccable in every way. Beyond its aesthetics, the view is breathtaking, making our stay even more special. The staff, a wonderful family, is exceptional: friendly, helpful, and always attentive to our every need. Everything was extremely clean and tidy, conveying a great sense of comfort and care. The reserved parking is large and spacious. It will undoubtedly become our go-to place every time we return to this area. Highly recommended ❤️
29/12/2025: After tasting the toast this summer, we decided to spend a few days after Christmas with family and friends who had never seen the Dolomites... the outcome... we were AWESOME, and they were very satisfied with the room, the services, and the constant availability of all the staff and the owners, Stefano and Arianna. My husband and I personally send them a huge THANK YOU for who they are and the care they showed during our delicate and melancholic time. Of course, we all plan to return. I highly recommend it: comfortable rooms, top-notch cleaning, welcoming and well-kept spa, extraordinary location.

26/03/2026: When visiting Canazei this is a must snack place for me. I mean, it’s nothing special, just an honest panino with really good wurstel. At a reasonable price. Served directly by the owner for 50+ years
24/03/2026: A Canazei classic: a hot dog break at Pippo's along the main road in Canazei, opposite the bus stop. I gave the service 4 stars only because of the queue that always forms due to the quality of the food, but that's certainly not due to the owners and staff who work tirelessly to satisfy every culinary request. Beyond the bus stop, the view of the snow-capped mountains is splendid, the air clear and crisp, the sandwich fragrant and warm—it's a must! But I'm sure you've already tried it, otherwise don't miss it, it's worth it!!!
