Proprio in centro nel bel Borgo dei Papi si trova questi storico bar. L' ubicazione è perfetta, nella piazza pittoresca, ma il caffè non era buonissimo. Inoltre, un sorriso in più non guasterebbe.

The evil one speaks evil of the good; the fool now good, now evil; no one's essay ever. Giacomo Leopardi chiseled this phrase which fits perfectly for the reviews of the historic Carosi bar. The poet, a glutton for ice cream, would certainly have had some inspiration tasting the specialties of this bar (ice cream first and foremost), embraced by a splendid Piazza della Libertà rich in history and ancient beauty. Bernini's mastery reminds us that beautiful things take time to come to fruition, and once accomplished they will enjoy a well-deserved longevity. So if you're in a hurry or just stop by to use the bathroom this place is a waste for you. To confirm my first impression I had to go back the next day and try other flavors of ice cream, I will have tried five or six in total, and I can put my hand in saying that they are artisanal and among the best I have ever tried in my life (I had way of enjoying the famous flavors of sigep and numerous artisanal productions in the past). The blueberry is unforgettable, the violet spritz is sublime, as is the kindness and efficiency of the staff. Correct prices.

In general, it can be said to be good. The waiters' behavior was very good and sweet. Food prices were more affordable than other bars and they had delicious bar food.

The central location of this restaurant is excellent, overlooking Piazza della Libertà and a few steps from the Pontifical Palace, the Church of San Tommaso da Villanova and a breathtaking view of Lake Albano. The brioches or croissants both empty and baked are good. milk cream (whatever you want to call them, it depends on your geographical origin). The cappuccinos and coffee are also good.
