10/11/2025: We spent two nights here in November. There were three of us, plus our dog. We had a room with a balcony and lake view on the second floor and another room on the first floor. Here's my review: Pros: The rooms are clean and in typical Italian style. The view of the lake from the second floor was beautiful. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We felt very welcome. On our first day, there was a large tour group that completely blocked the breakfast buffet. The owner then brought breakfast to our table, and it truly left nothing to be desired. A great response! We had half-board, and dinner was excellent. I highly recommend it, as the extra cost is relatively low. Cons: Unfortunately, the previous reviews are accurate; the building is very noisy. With the tour group, some of whom were still sitting together in one of the rooms chatting until the early hours, sleep was nearly impossible. But even without this exceptional situation, you can hear almost everything from room to room. We had the toilet flushing right next to our bed in the neighboring room, which wasn't very pleasant. On the first floor, you could hear the bar and restaurant very clearly. All in all, we had a nice stay, even though the first night and morning weren't very pleasant due to the rather inconsiderate tour group. However, the hotel can only be held partially responsible for that, and we were compensated with an extra service.

08/04/2026: Unfortunately, the courtesy and hospitality that distinguished this place in years past are gone under the new management! They claimed we were eating a piece of bread while waiting for a table to become available. We mentioned this to two people, and they still made us leave as if we were feasting in front of customers. All we had to do was reply: "I didn't know you were waiting!" You can't eat a piece of bread while waiting for a table here! A real shame.

05/04/2026: We've been coming to this place for many years, and unfortunately, with great regret, I don't think we'll be returning. We were sitting on the benches and, while waiting for a free table to have lunch, we ate a piece of bread. One of the waiters came over and said we had to leave and that we were disrespecting the customers who were having lunch at that moment. Something like this has never happened in any mountain hut or refuge!!! We are the customers, we're not inconvenient people, and if this is the welcome the new management is offering... It's going to be a truly daunting challenge! Turning away customers waiting for a table because they were eating a piece of bread sitting on the benches far from the tables... It speaks for itself. A truly sad decision that leaves a bittersweet impression, because the post is truly beautiful and brings back memories for us. For those who want to approach this new management, arm yourself with patience, because you'll be labeled rude if you decide to eat something while waiting to sit at their tables. How sad!

31/12/2025: Food was average and service was ok too. We were passing the road and stopped here for lunch. It’s a family ran restaurant. Pricy for the quality of food served.

18/01/2026: I was there a couple of years ago. A family-friendly restaurant, it feels like being at a friend's house. The food was good, even in terms of quality. I still remember the wild boar. I had seconds and thirds, delicious! I'll definitely be back.
