21/08/2024: Not a large environment (better), but clean and well kept. Very good food, limited menu with few traditional dishes but done really well. Attentive and kind staff. Initially we were unable to book because it was full (August 15th), but we asked to be contacted in case of any cancellations and so it was, thanks to the group which was on average young and also attentive to personal contacts, which are not so frequent nowadays . We will definitely be back to enjoy the rest of the menu that we couldn't try last time, and it will be a success again. Well done!

19/08/2024: Lunch with friends. We had an appetizer, the mixed grill with Florentine steak, the tortelloni and the tagliatelle with mushrooms. All very good.

11/08/2024: Se siete amanti della carne, questo ristorante fa per voi! Si nota subito che c'è competenza, che c'è esperienza e che tutto quello che assaggerete non vi deluderà. Noi abbiamo scelto l'antipasto degustazione per due persone e l'abbiamo comodamente diviso in tre. Sublime la tartare, gustosi gli assaggi di prosciutto e interessante la ricotta coi filetti di acciuga. A seguire, 1,5 kg di fiorentina locale eccellente: cottura perfetta, morbida e saporita. Accompagnata da ottime patate al forno. Servizio cortese e attento, molto accogliente lo chef, che passa ad ogni tavolo per scambiare qualche parola e offrire il bicchierino della staffa. Conto più che adeguato alla qualità. Noi con un calice di Bolgheri, tre bottiglie d'acqua, due dessert molto buoni e un caffè, abbiamo speso € 148. Torneremo, per la carne ovvio, ma anche per assaggiare i primi piatti che avevano un gran bell'aspetto.

The service is informal and fast, the host is courteous and welcoming with a typical Tuscan accent. The light-hearted atmosphere made the lunch enjoyable. I recommend it and will return

03/05/2024: I was on May Day with my wife, daughters and son-in-law, we really stayed for 10, excellent food, friendly waiter/owner and absolutely honest prices, good house wine and I hope to be able to return soon perhaps with better weather than Wednesday😁

16/12/2023: I have passed by this restaurant several times and had never stopped, one day my wife and I did so and discovered a phenomenal place: excellent food and a welcoming place but the real added value is the couple who run it. Perfect for a pleasant culinary break during the Bologna/Florence journey on the S.S.64, it is always full of motorcyclists and other friendly people passing by. Informal but very nice and warm environment. I recommend booking.

17/08/2024: Not many parking spaces available unless you leave your car in a no-parking zone on the nearby streets. The parking lot above the venue was full and in any case not very large. There is no air conditioning and mainly the tables are outside on the street which is busy and noisy. Fairly large tables with benches, very simple let's say. Correct dishes, not abundant, quite good. For example, the tagliatelle with truffles tasted like nothing, we were forced to add cheese otherwise it was like eating tagliatelle with oil. When asked for Parmesan, the owner insisted on giving her opinion, looking at us in disgust, explaining that it wasn't a suitable combination, it had never happened to me, everyone has their own tastes and doesn't want to feel judged when paying. Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms very good, but better with cheese. Good cut with truffle. Excellent fried porcini mushrooms. Pecorino and figs nothing special. The service is the big flaw, it absolutely needs to be improved, it is not possible to ask for parmesan 5 times and not receive it and meanwhile play in the kitchen with the ball against the wall while the customers wait and see you. Asked for two portions of pecorino with figs as an appetizer, they brought everything on a plate without specifying that it was for two and without bringing the second course, logically the diner, not knowing this, ate it all. Warm, low quality house wine. Afterwards we got a bottle. Go there if you have time, the kitchen times are long, the staff is young and therefore there is plenty of time and opportunity to improve! Small and uncomfortable bathroom. Good price also taking into account everything said previously. 1 first course, 1 starter, 1 water, 1 coffee, cover charge, bitters around €36.

29/07/2024: My daughter and I found this place by chance, we wanted a bit of fresh air for us and Ares, our beloved dog. We land in this place that we had no idea about, as soon as we arrive we have a very warm welcome from one of the members, the outside is beautiful, furnished in a refined and refined way, they pay attention to the small details. There are 3 members, friends, who opened a year ago and who are really good, our most sincere compliments. You won't find a classic menu from Tuscany or Emilia, but young, sophisticated, tasty but above all delicious proposals. Our vote is certainly the highest score, the kids don't lack imagination, good taste too, so we wish you a long life, we will certainly come to visit you again. I recommend trying their cocktails too, I had smoked apricot and watermelon, non-alcoholic, very good 😋 but they also make it alcoholic and they make many others. The value for money is perfect. Congratulations boy, keep it up.

23/08/2024: Durante un viaggio abbiamo programmato una sosta per la cena qui, convinti di rilassarci, mangiare bene e godere di una giusta temperatura… delle tre soltanto l’ultima, e non per merito loro. Maleducati fin dal nostro arrivo alle 19 (pur avendo prenotato) “non potete entrare in sala, non siamo pronti e stasera vi faremo entrare alle 19,15!!!”. La cucina è stata deludente: i crostini al pate’ miseri, la pasta al cacio insapore, la carne passabile ma il “top” sono state le patatine. Arrivate flosce, freddine e imbevute d’olio ( in quindici minuti varie cameriere sono passate vicino al tavolo e nessuna ha notato che non le stavamo mangiando, ottimo spirito di osservazione) quando abbiamo fatto presente educatamente che non erano mangiabili, senza dire una parola la cameriera le ha tolte e portate via, per riportarle dopo 5 minuti ributtate nell’olio bollente!!! (Mezze carbonizzate fuori ma sempre molli dentro). Non è mia abitudine recensire negativamente, ma la maleducazione all’accoglienza e il completo disinteresse durante la cena (oltre alle preparazioni cucinate male) mi impongono di farlo.
