28/04/2024: I stayed several nights in a room at the tavern and had the pleasure of having dinner there one evening. I found the room in excellent clean and tidy conditions, the furniture in the room and the bathroom fixtures mix ancient and modern in a way that is pleasing to the eye. The staff in the sleeping area and the restaurant were always helpful and kind, the small space helps to always have a pleasant silence both in the sleeping area and in the restaurant area. Road connections with Lecco and Como are simple and journeys are quick (but travel by car is mandatory). No negative note from the inn, to nitpick the monastery next door which (I suppose due to a wedding) rang its bells at around 7.30 in the morning.

18/03/2024: Ho soggiornato per una notte all'Hotel Nicolini e cenato presso il ristorante. Per quanto riguarda il soggiorno, da segnalare l'eccellente livello di pulizia, l'ampiezza della stanza, la comodità del letto e la qualità del sonno grazie alla posizione e all'ottima insonorizzazione della camera. All'arrivo, l'ospite trova la porta della stanza completamente aperta, in segno di accoglienza, ma non tutti magari gradiscono. Colazione in linea con un tre stelle, con prodotti di ottima qualità. Personale disponibile. Per quanto riguarda il ristorante, menù che spazia tra carne e pesce, buona materia prima, carta dei vini ricca di opzioni tutte di ottima qualità, servizio rapido e cortese. Ottimo il pane, i grissini e i dolci fatti in casa. Prezzi della carta non per tutti, anche se come ospite dell'hotel ho apprezzato uno sconto inaspettato. Posateria con forchette un poco sbilanciate nel peso e di difficile maneggio in ausilio al taglio.

06/04/2024: Wow. I mean, WOW!! What amazing food and service. One of the finest meals I've had for a long time, equalled to any restaurant that would charge four times the price back in the UK. If you're in this area and want excellent fine dining at a very reasonable price with great wine a well, then you should definitely come here. Amazing.

04/04/2024: An absolutely wonderful experience. If you are visiting Lierna, definitely stop in! The food was fresh/house-made. The service was impeccable and a location you can’t beat. It was a favorite and we’ll absolutely be back!

04/03/2024: Saturday evening, family pizza, I had the "purpett"..fabulous, tasty dough too..soft environment, finally a place with low lights, very intimate compared to the standard...well done...my mother unfortunately took a watered down Zola pizza from mozzarella, too bad.. it made her lower her opinion.. in fact it was a lot but it can happen, excellent raw materials, delicate, fast, nice, good girls. We will definitely be back.. also to taste the dishes... congratulations, you're there. liked ♡♡♡

10/03/2024: First time for us.. really delicious pizza.. you could feel how fresh the ingredients were.. very juicy pizza and perfect dough.. the version of the stuffed calzone was the first time for me... I can only say MAAAAAMM MIAAAAAAA..with certainty the best calzone I ate in my life 🤙... Nice guys, kind and with a smile above all.. shame that living in Malgrate they don't deliver but this absolutely doesn't take away the 5 stars.. I'll gladly take a walk to go and pick them up directly. ..(I also had two slices left over for breakfast 😂) ..see you next time guys, VERY GOOD... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

22/05/2024: Small family business with traditional Italian meals. The place was quite hard to find. We were surprised that the place was packed with locals having lunch.

16/05/2024: Having lunch alone is not exactly the best, but if you do it here you will feel like family! The pizzoccheri are delicious, and the polenta tops! Thanks to Caterina's availability and the authenticity of the dishes I was able to taste, I soon forgot that I was alone! Good value for money!
