I stayed several nights in a room at the tavern and had the pleasure of having dinner there one evening. I found the room in excellent clean and tidy conditions, the furniture in the room and the bathroom fixtures mix ancient and modern in a way that is pleasing to the eye. The staff in the sleeping area and the restaurant were always helpful and kind, the small space helps to always have a pleasant silence both in the sleeping area and in the restaurant area. Road connections with Lecco and Como are simple and journeys are quick (but travel by car is mandatory). No negative note from the inn, to nitpick the monastery next door which (I suppose due to a wedding) rang its bells at around 7.30 in the morning.

Having lunch at Marascia seems to put everyone in a good mood, due to the quality of the dishes, the kindness of Massimo and company, and the refined rooms.
We were delighted with two excellent sea bass and a tender braised Angus fish. Delicious fruit and desserts.
We had lunch on Sunday with the family.
You always come here with joy because you eat very well, where there is culinary research and where the customer always comes first.
Both the fish and the Angus braise were superb.
The sweets were spot on.
The Apulian rosé wine of excellent pleasantness and harmony on the palate.
Obviously we will return.

I had dinner with other people. The food was great.
Appetizer of cold cuts with octopus in lemon potato sauce (a delight). The tagliolini with truffle are excellent. I also tasted the perch risotto (a specialty of the Lario area), rarely have I found this dish to be as high quality as here.
The dessert was also excellent.
The restaurant is located in a historic place, right in front of the ancient Lavello monastery. A walk, after dinner, along the riverside in front of the church is a must.

Una piccola gemma in riva al fiume. Posto molto caldo, accogliente ed in cui si respira davvero un'atmosfera tranquilla. Piatti ottimi, ottima varietà nel menù ed una menzione speciale per il pesce, davvero fresco, buono e cucinato magistralmente. Ci torneremo sicuramente!
