24/05/2026: Today, I and some friends did the same.
Torre Alfina Castle was very beautiful, and lunch was at Capannaccia da Ciccio.
Very good dishes and fast service. The wild boar in salsa verde was definitely the most popular, but overall, we had a great time.
Ciccio is a true professional and manages all his customers very well.
You feel at home, eating in a farmhouse in the middle of the countryside.

27/06/2026: This property is located along the Via Francigena route. The rooms are very comfortable, despite the service. We requested an early breakfast to allow us to start our journey in cooler temperatures, but unfortunately, this was not accommodated. For convenience, we made our own way to the first open café at 6:00 a.m., even though breakfast was already included in the package.
16/06/2026: As for the restaurant alone, I found it to be quite charming, with a lovely outdoor setting. The food I tried was disappointing: the liver crostini were excellent, but the arrosticini were too dry and flavorless. My wife had chickpea and potato meatballs, and the first course was also good (the sauce was excellent), but the potatoes were dry. The service was good, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The price was average.

Exciting cuisine, impeccable service, and a breathtaking location: *La Parolina* is much more than a restaurant; it's a sensory journey through flavors, aromas, and creativity.
Each dish is meticulously crafted, using excellent local ingredients reinterpreted with elegance and technique. The tasting menu is a crescendo of surprises, balance, and authentic passion.
The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and present, yet never intrusive. The dining room exudes warmth and refinement, with a view that makes the experience even more memorable.
A well-deserved Michelin star, but after this dinner, it's at least three. Kudos to Iside and her team!

03/03/2026: Centrally located, clean rooms with everything you need! I had dinner at their restaurant and had a wonderful pizza and other dishes! The staff were very welcoming, and the owners are very nice and kind and make you feel right at home! Thank you for everything!
07/02/2026: Excellent restaurant with good value. I recommend the very delicate wild boar in the homemade tagliolini. The lamb is excellent. Parking is a stone's throw away in the center.

14/05/2026: Kind and welcoming, excellent accommodation on the way to Rome. I had a great time and thank you for your hospitality. The rooms, breakfast, and location were excellent. I didn't try the restaurant because it's closed on Mondays. Congratulations!

29/03/2026: We've been wanting to plan a vacation to visit the city of Viterbo and some of the surrounding province for a while, so we booked at Agriturismo Sant'Angelo in Acquapendente. It was a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, meticulously maintained, with a fabulous view. We discovered that Tuscia is a wonderful region. We'll be back soon.

Pleasantly surprised and expertly pampered during these hectic, almost overwhelming days.
A delicious menu with Easter eggs
"Easter Eve." We tried everything from tuna to rabbit,
spaghetti with artichokes and bottarga, superb Fassona beef tartare...and what delicious crostoni...
yum!
I'm sure we'll be back and I recommend it to you too. Applause.

28/07/2026: This is my second visit to this small wine bar because it's truly welcoming. The food is excellent, and the small menu is unique and beautifully presented (high-quality food). Of course, there's an excellent selection of wines, including some from local wineries. The owner, who takes care of everything, is very hospitable and professional. I highly recommend it!

15/05/2026: We had lunch on a typical Thursday, even a bit drizzly. And we consoled ourselves from the bad weather with good food, good drinks, and the wonderful company of those who welcomed and advised us. A bit like going to a friend's house for dinner 🙂
What more could you ask for?

29/03/2026: Everything is always excellent, but there is a flaw and I can't help but warn you out of respect for your psychological balance. Eat the pizza, enjoy the courgette flowers, drink the excellent Guinness on tap, put your finger anywhere on the menu and go ahead, you won't be disappointed, but woe betide you, woe betide you poor things, stay away from the Nutella shovel, it's sneaky and alluring but it's addictive like nothing else in the world :) :)

21/04/2026: Apparently, the chain has moved from Piazza G. Fabrizio 13 to number 14. Two portions of tagliatelle in a cardboard box + coppertos! €23. Lukewarm. I've been traveling in Italy for many years, and this was the worst rip-off ever—and not in Venice, but in sleepy Aquapendente.

11/04/2026: Easter Monday lunch with friends. Menu: sliced cheesecake, capocollo, fridge-cold hard-boiled egg with two sauces, pici with herb pesto, mixed roast, citrus sorbet. Drinks and coffee not included, €39. I got all-you-can-eat cheesecake, a slice of capocollo, no egg. The pici were bland; the pesto had tons of blended parsley. The roast included chicken wings (undercooked because they arrived raw), breast, and pieces of steak. The sorbet was a safe bet, and was very good.
05/04/2026: We discovered Pulicaro on Ecobnb and decided to book an Easter stay at this agriturismo, impressed by their values and philosophy. Everything lived up to our expectations! Pulicaro is a beautiful stone farmhouse managed with care and love by Chiara, Marco, and all the staff. It's an ideal place to stay, recharge, and sample traditional local cuisine, often made with products from their farm!
The agriturismo's location is also on the border between Lazio, Umbria, and Tuscany. It's a great base for exploring Tuscia.
Excellent value for money!
A wonderful experience, highly recommended.
