22/04/2025: Nice slopes and fantastic skiing

20/04/2025: Google showed this place opened until 6pm. Got there at 3pm and they said kitchen was closing at 3:30. We felt unwelcome and we were told they have VERY minimal selections during that time, even butter noodles will take them a lot of effort according to the hostess. Went to a restaurant called Le Moulin Valtournenche whose kitchen was also closing soon at the time but they accommodated us and made us THE BEST pasta and pizza we have ever had!! The whole pie cost €9 which was incredible value!

30/05/2025: Sara always welcomes us warmly in her beautiful restaurant, new and cared for in every detail. The menu is rich and varied, with a wide choice of dishes that enhance the typical products of the area. When you come to Chamois, a must-see is definitely CHEZ PIERINA. Reservations are recommended to guarantee a place in this corner of taste and tradition!

07/06/2025: When entering this classical Italian eatery to enjoy a Valdostano menu you feel like being transferred some fifty years back in time, not only by the interior decoration but also by the soft jazz being played over the loud speakers and the strict black and white outfit of your fun English speaking waitress. It was only the white apron that was missing. I had the best polenta ever and wines by the glass were excellent. Bert good value for money!

10/06/2025: In a high place and beautiful spot of the gorgeous mountains we found the restaurant and were surprised to have the one of our best meals in Sicily. The hosts were very very friendly and we enjoyed two magical hours there. Good selection of dishes and we even took the left overs with us. Arnon, Revital, Youval and Ayala.

10/06/2025: There were 70 bikers who visited Ristoro dello Scoiattolo and I can say that it was a real dream! The service was simply excellent, the staff was friendly, efficient and attentive to our needs. The food was even better! The quality of the dishes was very high and the variety of options satisfied all our tastes. The owner was really friendly and helpful, he made sure everything was perfect and did everything to make us feel at home. Our experience was truly unique and unforgettable. Ristoro dello Scoiattolo is a place that I recommend to everyone, especially if you are a large group like ours. The quality-price ratio was really excellent and we will definitely be back! *Rating:* 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ *Tip:* if you are bikers, like us, Ristoro dello Scoiattolo is a must! 29/05/2025: We have been coming here several times a year for a few years now and we have finally found a restaurant that is up to par, without taking anything away from the others, but this is a beautiful, very characteristic place, well looked after and well managed by the two very kind and very well-prepared ladies in the dining room, furthermore, left for last but not least, finally a menu that is up to the culinary tradition of these areas. Even the gluten free management receives the right attention. Well done, see you soon.

The quality-price ratio is excellent, with a truly impressive selection of wine labels. The food is sublime, prepared with great skill, combining the elegance of gourmet cuisine with abundant and generous portions. I have rarely found cuisine of this caliber in Cervinia. I highly recommend visiting it, because it has no comparison in the area. A true jewel for lovers of good food!"

18/04/2025: Really enjoy eating here. Always feel welcomed by the friendly warm staff. The food is excellent and highly recommend the pork shank and the chestnut dessert. Only disappointing thing was they were fully booked for the last day of our holiday. Will book in advance next year.

01/06/2025: The experience refers to the bar, returning from a walk with a group of friends we were welcomed with extreme courtesy and availability. The environment is very nice, clean and the position is panoramic on the valley. Definitely to try again maybe for dinner. The only problem is the few spaces to park.

03/06/2025: Purtroppo questa volta hanno toppato. Ho scelto questo ristorante perché lo reputo fra i migliori in zona e lo frequeto volentieri non solo per il buon cibo la anche per la gentilezza del servizio e la posizione. Il menù è prettamente valdostano. Fra i piatti tradizionali io scelgo sempre quelli basici ed in particolare la zuppa valtellinese che qui ho sempre trovato buona. Questa volta però sono rimasto deluso in quanto se pur gli ingredienti c'erano mancava completamente il brodo. Così la zuppa era un mappazzone asciutto, da mangiarsi con la forchetta e poco piacevole. Fatto presente al cameriere, mi riferiva dalla cucina che il problema era derivanto dal diverso pane utilizzato che avrebbe assorbito il brodo.....beh, non mi sembra una buona giustificazione e sarebbe bastato ritirarmi il piatto, aggiungere un po' di brodo caldo e tutto risolto. Così non è stato ed il sono rimasto con il mio deludente mappazzone. Fra le altre portate una tagliata non era granché....carne un pò dura; lo Spezzatino così così. Buone ed abbondanti le tagliatelle al ragù, buono il lardo sul tagliere. Abbiamo anche bevuto un buon vino locale consigliato dal gestore sommelier. Buono il servizio, prezzi nella media, peccato per quella zuppa. Spero di ritrovarla buona la prossima volta.

04/05/2025: Nice experience at Sabot. Typical and super relaxing environment. Very kind staff and good Aosta Valley food. Everything perfect. We would have liked to do a double but the second time it was full. Let's go back!

31/05/2025: If it were possible I would give 6 stars!!! It's the first time I eat Aosta Valley food and I was amazed. The bourguignonne was tasty but not heavy. The other diners were highly satisfied. This place deserves a dedicated trip!

29/05/2025: Go now! Incredible and delicious recipes passed down through 4 generations and featured in the Lonely Planet. All of the generations of family members are on hand to serve you and share with you. I have the honor of visiting northern Italy every year. The food is always superior but this is THE best meal that I’ve ever had in Italy!

27/03/2025: Unfortunately our Valle d'Aosta polenta had a minimum of cheese, (practically invisible) certainly not comparable to the classic ones that are always well mixed and with well-dissolved fontina! Without flavour. I can't recommend.

04/03/2025: At the end of the cross-country track, the refuge welcomes you in the best possible position. Excellent food and at a good price.

18/06/2025: Dinner in this place on a Saturday evening in June, the place has both an internal part and an external Dehors, if you can get up in the latter, I recommend booking in advance because it is always very full. Very varied food, typical of the Aosta Valley, excellent quality of the products, I actually took two appetizers and they were one better than the other and I loosened the dinner with a dessert of strawberries with mascarpone. All accompanied by a glass of red wine and a still water and I spent €50 alone, it is an excellent place, I will return.

10/06/2025: A perfect restaurant for those who love variety and quality! The wide choice of dishes is really difficult—I wanted to try everything. We started with a mixed appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, simply delicious! The cheeses with jam and the bacon with chestnuts were a real surprise. The plate of gnocchi with blue cheese, apples and speck was exceptional, a balanced and surprising mix of flavors. And to finish, the mountain pine bitters: an absolute must-try! A gastronomic experience to repeat, highly recommended 🍽️✨

17/05/2025: Wonderful experience. We chose two “together” menus of 6 courses, each one is an experience in itself. Among these, the risotto with tuna, the ravioli and the dessert were astonishing. The possibility of ordering à la carte is very interesting, allowing you to choose what to order without constraints. The restaurant also has an excellent selection of wines in which we were wisely guided by the advice of the waiter. We will definitely be back.

06/05/2025: On entre et on remonte le temps. Le personnel est très aimable et attentionné, les plats à base de produits locaux sont savoureux , généreux . Une mention particulière pour le sommelier , d'excellent conseil, qui nous a fait des suggestions hors des sentiers battus ( ah ! ce pinot noir, c'était la dernière bouteille hélas ... : une découverte étonnante et merveilleuse ! ) Merci donc à lui et à toute l'équipe pour ce moment délicieux en tous points . Excellent rapport qualité/prix .

06/05/2025: Very good Agriturismo. The staff is pleasant, the restaurant is good and the rooms are comfortable. By using the car, one can easily access the mountains, the city and the historical sites.

07/05/2025: Excellent restaurant. Good food and warm atmosphere. Given that the waitress was very kind to us, the only flaw is that when we were there there were many changes to the menu which were only verbally reported to us by the waitress, if there are a couple it's not a problem but when there are many it would be better to make a piece of paper to attach to the menu otherwise the customer will forget what he was told.

24/04/2025: I liked it. Small, family run environment. Few culinary choices but of quality. Some dishes were no longer available also because we were at the end of the season.
