06/12/2025: Let me start by saying that the food was very good and the atmosphere was classic roadhouse-style. So far, so good. However, what happened at the end of the evening was, in my opinion, completely intolerable. We were chatting and laughing peacefully at our table—there were only two tables left, so it wasn't even that chaotic—when one of the waiters approached the cash register and started printing out the bill (which we hadn't even asked for, by the way). As he did so, I clearly heard him say, "What the f*** are you laughing about?" It wasn't a generic comment, it wasn't a misunderstanding: there was no one near him except us, and we were indeed laughing. So yes, he was addressing us, without a doubt. Now... my friend, I understand it was late, I understand you were tired and maybe even fed up with working because it was getting late. But before you started insulting the customers, you should have simply let us know you were about to close, don't you think? Especially since we'd already finished eating and would have been happy to leave the table without any problems. I realize we may have lingered a bit and not looked at the clock, but that's precisely why a "Guys, we're closing" would have solved everything. Instead, we were met with a completely gratuitous and rude outburst that ruined the entire experience. Above all, I want to point out that it was 11:05 PM... the restaurant closes at 11 PM. And the thing that bothers me most is that all the other waiters were really kind and professional. But whatever, I guess there are assholes everywhere.

30/11/2025: I gave it a second chance, but... I'll never go back!! It certainly can't be called a restaurant!! It's fast food!! Even low-quality, especially considering the unprofessional service that borders on rudeness! Poor value for money

07/12/2025: Great experience; we wandered in by chance, and it was a lucky find. Authentic American burgers, excellent selection of sauces, excellent desserts, especially the coconut one, excellent beer selection. I would probably only improve the fries, but the rest is recommended. Average cost: €30 per person.

30/11/2025: The place is clean, tidy, and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. The food is excellent, and most importantly, there's a varied menu with plenty of choices. The desserts are out of this world; I recommend the coconut and chocolate cake and the pear and chocolate cake. An experience I absolutely must repeat!

30/11/2025: The place is very aesthetically pleasing, the staff are kind and helpful, and the table reservation process with the app was a little complicated at first, but everyone was very kind in explaining how it worked, and then it wasn't difficult. All the food was delicious and of high quality. Prices were fair.

21/06/2025: The food as a whole very good but... This time I tried the pulled pork sandwich, I have to say that the combination of pulled pork and barbecue sauce is not so good, the pulled pork already has that flavor and adding the sauce also makes it too strong in taste, probably I'm weak stomach because I couldn't finish it. I'm not saying for any reason that it's not good the quality is excellent, but for some sandwiches the spicy was a bit too high compared to average, beautiful place you eat really well highly recommended.

07/10/2025: Excellent and inexpensive! Multiple choices of draft beers and burgers. The sauces are delicious and not overdone, it really makes the difference! The atmosphere is calm, suitable for going with children. I recommend not missing out on Mericano during your stay in Pompeii.

10/12/2025: As I walked through the door, the waitress greeted me with a bubbling, welcoming smile. I sat down and enjoyed the music they played while I waited only a moment for a delicious, decadent plate of French toast, fresh orange juice, and a coffee. They made me feel great about practicing my (terrible) Italian, unlike other places where they just switch to English. It was a really outstanding experience and I regret getting breakfast elsewhere the following day.

22/12/2025: A disappointing evening to say the least, we booked a table for 20 people the day before and arrived there at 8.15 pm well in advance and they told us that they had taken the reservation for Monday and that in any case they did not have a suitable place for the table of 20 but they placed us on two separate tables and so far no problem, we arrived at the time of the orders and to be very quick on the table with more people we wrote the orders on the paper placemat on one side for the food and on the other for the drinks. The pleased waiter said okay I'll copy them immediately as soon as I took the orders of the rest of the group. I get to the point, a drink is forgotten, we only order 5 normal pizzas, only 4 arrive, one of which is completely burnt, it's 10.30pm when I ask for the 5th pizza and I'm told that they had forgotten to make it and so I say ok it doesn't matter, don't make it anymore since we had all finished eating, the arrosticini arrive cold and very dry, the kids' menu arrives one of the last, the pizza for a celiac person is served after almost two hours of waiting with chips with gluten and the waiter says to him "you know that the chips are with gluten. What do I do, do you want another one or take away the chips?" And here the parents, given the waiting time, decide to take away the chips and there is also the suspicion that they have exchanged the two identical pizzas except that one was lactose-free and the other normal. In short, what can I say? Despite having traveled 40 km to get to the restaurant, the result was completely disappointing. After several discussions with the waiter about the total bill, he gave us a 24 euro discount, which was of little use given the various mistakes we had made.

22/12/2025: I have the impression that whoever gave it 5 stars chose the wrong place. I booked a table for today, Sunday, December 21st (even with a message on their WhatsApp), but the place had a reservation for Monday the 22nd. Terrible service, even worse courtesy, a distant, aloof, and arrogant counter/cashier, and the wait times were exorbitantly long. Aside from being served after people who arrived 45 minutes after us, but they were friends (if priority goes to friends, in these cases you don't open a restaurant, but a nice private garage), children's menu arrived almost at the end of the dinner, arrosticini arrived cold and overcooked, panzerotti tasteless and obviously frozen and defrosted and poorly cooked, extremely dry and hard hamburger (to compete with the famous and poor fast food chains), a pizza not served after 2 hours, good pizzas but undercooked underneath, with the exception of one with a charred edge, (little attention from the pizza chef, as he was more intent on nibbling between one pizza and another, than on the orders, and obviously always without sanitizing his hands), but seriously more SERIOUS, ordered gluten-free pizza (margherita with sausage and fries) and after the very long wait we were served telling us that the fries on the pizza contain gluten, and they offered to have them removed in the kitchen or to remake the pizza, but seeing The service timing: my daughter chose to remove all the mozzarella and chips, eating a red pizza, but apparently the contamination wasn't just on the chips, since when we got home we had to give her an antihistamine. I have the impression that the gluten-free option at this place is for "trendy, greedy" vegans and vegetarians (who obviously don't have certified health conditions). Two other "Bresaola" pizzas, one ordered with lactose-free mozzarella, was served with regular mozzarella, because about half an hour after leaving the restaurant, stomach cramps began. We turned a blind eye, but only for the moment; If there are no further complications during the night, aside from this negative review (and 1 star is a lot, but you can't give it any less), and the "slap on the wrist" given on the spot, with obviously fake excuses (there's no such thing as a €23 discount for 17 customers, and we're not doing anything about it), WE will never set foot in this place again. But if anything goes wrong (and I'm concerned about my health, even though I'm a quiet and patient type), I will be HEAVILY INTOLERANT. I hope for your sake that we NEVER see each other again.
