Weissbrunnalmhuttl In Ultimo

Fontana Bianca Lake (Weißbrunnsee) is a pearl of the Ultimo Valley, well-maintained and enchanting at nearly 1,900 meters above sea level. It's easily accessible by car (parking €8) or by bus/shuttle from Santa Gertrude, or even on foot along the valley's trails. It's perfect for a relaxing stroll around the lake or as a starting point for beautiful hikes to mountain huts, alpine lakes, and scenic refuges: Malga Fiecht, the circular hike to Fischersee and Malga Fiecht, Lago Verde, and Rifugio Canziani, or longer routes, such as the circular trail between the lakes (Verde, Pescatori, and Lungo). Advanced panoramic hikes are also possible, such as to the summit of Monte Chiodo.

A nice and convenient place, accessible by car with ample parking, perfect for spending a day or taking excursions. It's a shame about the €8 daily parking fee, although it doesn't justify the location or facilities...

Beautiful walk at 2000 m. at the end of the Ultimo Valley

A clear lake at the end of the Ulten Valley. Accessible by car, bus, or on foot. You can relax there and/or walk around the lake. A lovely day trip destination.

Parking prices are out of this world...but the lake is still beautiful.

Very narrow road to the lake. Occasionally it is closed for 12 minutes if a bus is coming towards it. Beautiful lake with a dam on it.
