Magnificent restaurant, I think I will never have a restaurant like this again in my life

We went to Aldo's in Dogliani for lunch, I won't go back there again. Spider on the table appetizers one piece x they have no tact with customers who don't eat meat therefore all derivatives including eggs you can't contact the diner It's a Mrs though!!! And he brings you the omelette knowing everything in advance.........then I'd rather be told there's no room or we don't do vegan dishes rather than take it anyway for the money because he made a fool of himself!!😱 On top of all that we paid for 4 people, 2 practically didn't eat anything €80.00 the others ate the first course and for the second they didn't know if there was any for us there was no dessert, fruit and coffee last thing found a hair on the plate should close or a hygiene check wouldn't hurt her, I'm pissed off, forgive my French 😡 judge for yourself!

The place has a nice parking lot, it is quiet. The cuisine is traditional with commendable care and research into the roots. The manager explains and narrates each dish, with anecdotes and pieces of local history. He uses Piedmontese, French and Italian alternately and skilfully in order to make the stories more colourful. He is kind and attentive to intolerances and allergies, as well as to the nutritional properties of the foods he prepares. You can never go wrong at Aldo's. Typical and genuine cuisine. Honest price and stellar quality. Passing through Dogliani you absolutely have to stop and eat at his place.

Excellent place to eat in peace, delicious appetizers, good and plentiful tagliatelle with mushrooms. Must try
