Nothing special, I don't understand the mentions in the guides: in the city there are real "historic" trattorias where you spend less and eat much better.

We were guests of the Pomposa restaurant on Saturday for lunch, also helped by a splendid day we had lunch outside, in a truly characteristic square. The Modena culinary tradition is the undisputed protagonist, dishes without frills, authentic. The Petroniana and the ricotta and herb tortelloni are highly recommended. The added value of the place is undoubtedly Francesco, the boy who served us, he deserves an honorable mention, he really made us feel at home with kindness and friendliness. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED RESTAURANT.

Unassuming on the outside, traditional interior. Really delicious food, I had the vegetarian spinach and ricotta with sage butter tortolini, and delicious chocolate tart dessert.

What can I say, a genuine, simple and authentic place, with exquisite cuisine (the best boiled meat I've ever tried), I couldn't ask for anything better on a rainy Sunday! Maybe a little noisy inside, but you can get over it

Ci sono tornato dopo qualche mese ed ho avuto conferma di come sia possibile trovare buon cibo a prezzi contenuti anche in una città cara come Modena: primo di gramigna alla salsiccia e secondo a base di polpette alla Pavarotti davvero particolari. Consigliato!

Easy to reach location, well arranged tables and friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food, perhaps I would have a little more with the portions. Fabulous and freshly made tortellini, you can watch them prepare them. A stop is more than recommended.

Una trattoria con la “T” maiuscola. I piatti della tradizione modenese fatti come Storia comanda, senza particolari fronzoli o ricami, ma facendo attenzione alla sostanza (e alla forma) della Tradizione. Al di là di un antipasto forse inventato (budino di parmigiano con composta dolce, davvero buona), abbiamo provato le tagliatelle al ragù (notevoli) e delle polpette, anch’esse di ottima qualità. Friggione come contorno. Il tutto accompagnato da una bottiglia di lambrusco. Servizio.nella migliore linea delle trattorie: diretto, Franco, veloce. Il che induce, almeno in me, simpatia. Da andarci di sicuro (prezzi in linea con il servizio offerto, direi onesti)
