A bit of a walk from Palazzo Pacini but just enough to build our appetites! We received a warm welcome and chose Il Collo with Tuna Sauce and Mayonnaise with extra virgin olive oil to share, followed by La Tripe, cinta sausage and saffron from the garden, Il Galletto al mattone, and sides of L' Erbette sautéed with garlic extra virgin olive oil and chili pepper and Le Patate alla Ghiotta. Matched with the house chianti. Service was lovely and a match for the food. Compliments. It got busy so I suggest booking.

A pleasant discovery for those who love local and Tuscan products, it is also in the guide of Slow Food Italian taverns. Try the selection of cheeses and the pappardelle with Cinta white ragù cut with a knife.

Small but welcoming environment, just as the service staff are welcoming due to their kindness and friendliness. Business lunch with colleagues and friends: to be done here again as soon as possible. Excellent food quality and clear perception of freshness of all the ingredients. It's worth trying to... come back even more convinced 👍

Well, today I tried wild pigeon for the first time 😂 and it was very unexpectedly delicious! I recommend! The dishes are small but tasteful. The atmosphere is inviting.

Being able to reserve a table at the last minute. Super friendly service with great explanation of the dishes. Delicious food, fresh products. In short, highly recommended.

Posto magico. Cibo spaziale. Siamo rimasti a dir poco estasiati. era tutto stupendo, carne tenerissima. piatti particolari e tradizionali allo stesso tempo. Uno dei ristoranti più buoni dove ho mangiato a mani basse!

Con la mia amica abbiamo deciso di provare questo ristorante incuriosite dal nome del locale e dal menu trovato on line e devo dire che è stata una bellissima scoperta . Il locale richiama un po’ lo stile di trattoria ma con una attenzione alla cura dei dettagli . Il menù vario e con proposte tipicamente toscane alcune in chiave rivisitata fa venire l acquolina in bocca solo a leggerlo . Noi abbiamo scelto due antipasti e due primi che oltre ad essere di ottima qualità avevano una bella presentazione . Il conto assolutamente in linea con i prezzi del momento . La gentilezza e cordialità del personale e sicuramente un altro valore aggiunto . Torneremo presto ad assaggiare altri piatti che ci hanno incuriosito .

19/02/2024: Every time it's a fantastic experience.
18/02/2024: a bit pretentious restaurant, compared to the quality and quantity of dishes served. A mixed cold cuts and cheese starter platter for 3 people. The first few were also good, but nothing exceptional. Good wines, but unprofessional service (even if the staff is very kind and helpful). Excessive cost for what is offered.

La Grotta di Fulignano

12/05/2024: What a view and what service! The background of the orange and pink glow of the sunset over the hills and the attentive eyes of our waiters who attended to all our needs made this a perfect evening. The Parmesan grilled egg, the steak with grilled vegetables and the apple passion dessert were out of this world. I did not care so much for the tiramisu and the raviolis were good. I would add a little "pick me up (more fresh herbs) " to the taste of the boar meat in the ravioli. All and all, an experience not to be missed
08/05/2024: What a fantastic restaurant! A hidden gem. Great food with refined dishes and extensive wine list and friendly service. View from the terrace of San Gimignano. Great ambiance.
