I recommend with all my heart this small family restaurant close to Piazza del Campo. Local atmosohere where you can eat in peace, out crowd of tourists, excellent local food including pici, speciality of Siena. Very kind and friendly owner, a wonderful lady.

Both of our primi were good but we preferred the pici more than the gnocchi. The pumpkin gnocchi with truffle is by no mean bad, but it's a bit expensive and the flavor just doesn't live up to the price. We couldn't really taste the truffle so it's a bit of a miss. The pici and tiramisu were both great tho! The tiramisu is served in a half broken bottle of wine which is quite unique.

Attentive and courteous service...excellent quality food expertly prepared by the chef and owner Marco. All very good from the first courses with homemade pasta to the meat also awarded by industry experts. Don't forget to end your experience with a tiramisu... one of the best I've ever eaten. See you soon

Beautiful traditional restaurant in the center of Siena. I was warmly welcomed and treated with great affection by the staff. Traditional food, really good. Very good house wine. Low price. Super recommended.

Small tavern in the center of Siena, very small place but the food is really excellent. Pici with ragù delicious but the dish that surprised us was the yellow pumpkin gnocchi on a bed of pecorino and truffle fondue, really special!!
Very kind waiters and also very nice to our dog despite the small environment they did not create any kind of problem!!!

The location for on-site consumption is very small and a little tricky (due to the stairs) to reach, but I was able to see that they also do take-away food. However, it is worth making a stop, because the food is excellent, the prices are normal and the owners are sociable and friendly.

Nella botte piccola c'è il vino buono, e questo ristorante ne è la prova. Ho mangiato benissimo! Piccolo a conduzione familiare e di ottima qualità. Ho ordinato una cacio e pepe spaziale, come secondo dei fiori di zucca fritti.
Ci ritornerò sicuramente.

Ristorante piccolino ma accogliente. Piatti tipici toscani buoni e ben presentati. Servizio da migliorare con meno pressione verso i clienti che se pur accolti al secondo turno non dovrebbero avere l’idea di dover andare via presto e con più ‘dedizione’ verso le famiglie.
