I had dinner in the bistro. The food is of excellent quality but the menu choice is truly minimal. I also didn't find the choice of wines by the glass adequate for the cost. Although I was not dissatisfied with the dinner at all, I did not find this restaurant up to the average quality of the restaurants in the Langhe.

Never normally write reviews but we just want to thank all of the team at Osteria Arborina for a completely outstanding experience eating in your wonderful restaurant on Saturday night. Huge congratulations to chef Fernando Tommaso Forino: your ideas, the great service, the passion and engagement of the staff, and most importantly the utterly delicious food made us feel very excited and very happy indeed. We are sure that accolades will be coming your way, we’re very glad we got to find you before too many others do!

17/03/2024: Wandering around looking for a bar on my bicycle I make this beautiful discovery. Excellent Lavazza coffee and very fresh products. I will definitely return if passing through.

01/04/2024: Locale di fronte al castello con posizione tattica. ..a parte un po' di casino nella gestione dei tempi e della clientela.. Un po' troppo dilatati. Antipasto caro forse un po' piccolo ma buono.. Primo buono ma particolare.. . Caffè più mezza di vino.. Tot 75!
31/03/2024: Open later in the day next to the castle which was a big positive. Staff spoke English, knew their stuff and friendly. Great wines served at small portions for the cost. Excellent mixed antipasto plate, which was good value at 35 euros featuring local specialties. However, the main meals were average, small portions of meals that appeared to be reheated - e.g., riso croccante and a piece of cannelloni ragù for 12 and 15 euros respectively. The veal was enjoyable. Expensive cover charge at 2.5 euros per person with only one serve of bread at the table, and water at 2.5 euros per serve. Enjoyable enough but expensive overall, particularly given that you can visit Michelin bib gourmand restaurants or similar for much less in the region.
