Andrea welcomes you, a delightful and very kind person who makes you feel at home right away. And then the food, the aromatic herbs gathered in the countryside, the exquisite composition of the dishes, the warmth of the lights, the intoxicating aroma of each course are a treat for all the senses. Dining there is like taking an imaginary journey. Andrea describes every course perfectly, you savor it even before you begin tasting it. He exudes love and dedication. It's not just a simple restaurant, it's warmth, joy... love for one's homeland. And then there's Barbara, also a very sweet person, her smile lights up her face, they are a fantastic couple. 💞 I will definitely be back and it will be beautiful... 25/04/2026: A fantastic experience amidst the winding roads of Abruzzo. After a motorcycle ride through Guardiagrele, Casoli, the Verde River springs in Fara San Martino, Palena, Campo di Giove, and Pacentro, we crossed the San Leonardo Pass and stopped for lunch at Locanda del Barone in San Vittorino (descending just before Caramanico). ​The restaurant is wonderful, with a beautifully landscaped outdoor garden, perfect for relaxing. Lunch was top-notch: on the owner's recommendation, we opted for three starters, all perfect. We then continued with superb handmade arrosticini and exceptional roast lamb. The dessert, a lemon tart, was also excellent. ​The value for money is amazing, with the bill being decidedly modest considering the high quality of the dishes. We wanted to show our biker friends from Bari the best of Abruzzo, and thanks to this lunch, we achieved perfection. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back! Booking in advance is recommended.

22/08/2026: An inn of sincere and profound hospitality, pampering guests with a completely relaxed atmosphere and unparalleled professionalism. The cuisine is simply flawless and full of thoughtful touches and graceful touches only a true chef can offer: the veal with tuna sauce is incredibly tender, a dish as ancient as it is easy to mess up, especially with the delicate sauce; the mushroom with caciotta cheese transforms into a great recipe, marrying two simple ingredients with powerful personalities and not easy to pair; the chitarra pasta with zucchini and tomatoes demonstrates a focus on traditional fresh pasta with a distinctive bouquet of summery flavors; the guinea fowl leg is breathtaking, accompanied by vegetables that are by no means neglected and, in fact, incredibly fresh; the mille-feuille offered in the evening is impeccably French, with a pastry that perfectly utilizes butter and cream for perfect balance. I could also mention the excellent wines this seemingly simple establishment offers on its wine list, which in reality demonstrates great attention to detail, and the unparalleled affability that permeates the atmosphere. But I hope to talk about it in the future, because there are few places in Italy today that are worth shouting about as a gastronomic miracle as this restaurant.

10/01/2026: tiny portions no more than 50 grams of pasta, if you go just for a first course they are quite annoyed, but it's all good, furniture and tables quite worn, quite cystic for a trattoria, for a first course you go from a minimum of 12 euros for a cacio pepe 😵‍💫

The staff were friendly and helpful, the service attentive, and the atmosphere pleasant. A place where you eat well and feel at home. Kudos to all the staff, we'll definitely be back! 04/08/2026: I was recently taken to this restaurant, which I would never have otherwise gone to due to the loud advertisements blaring on the Montesilvano beach. I have to say, the food is decent, but the rest leaves a bit to be desired. With all due respect, I would suggest the owners invest their resources, not in running their business.

05/08/2026: I went there with a group of local friends and it was the perfect choice! Efficient, friendly, and pleasant service, the house wine—both the white and red—was excellent, and the olive oil... smell it and you'll taste the green! The bread—baked in the oven by them—with seeds (but they also make it with turmeric, etc.), oil, and a pinch of salt was delicious. The carratina alla teramana—a local classic—was excellent in quality and craftsmanship. In short, I'm looking for a flaw but can't find it yet. I'll have to go back, and who knows, maybe something's wrong. But for now, the rating is excellent!

20/08/2026: Il Casale is a very rustic restaurant with a spectacular view, perfect for those who want to eat well, a lot, and enjoy a long lunch in good company. The menu includes: - Cold appetizers: platters of local cured meats and cheeses, bruschetta, - Hot appetizers: fritters, meatballs, mixed fried dishes, chicken livers with potatoes - First courses: your choice, to share depending on your appetite. The ravioli are good. I wasn't thrilled with the rest. - Second courses: the mixed grill is a must. The lamb and sausages are excellent. - Desserts: Among the house specials, I loved one consisting of a sort of pancake with Chantilly cream inside. Wine, water, and coffee. The price of the entire menu is between €30 and €40, depending on how much you order. It's worth it, especially for the appetizers, which are truly plentiful and delicious.

16/08/2026: Sixteen of us, even with reservations, were turned away because we had a two-kilo dog in tow. The lady saw we had six kids to feed and wouldn't listen to reason. A terrible experience and a lot of inconvenience!

16/08/2026: We arrived from a trip from Caramanico to Decontra at lunchtime on a Sunday. They welcomed us and settled us in. We ate divinely. The restaurant was meticulously maintained in every detail. The owner and everyone was extremely kind. A must-see stop on your Pescara itinerary.
