04/04/2026: Today I had lunch at this little restaurant and I must say it was truly a wonderful discovery. The food was delicious, and you could clearly taste the quality of the ingredients used: everything was fresh, carefully prepared, and meticulously cared for. An added bonus is definitely the owner, an extremely kind and welcoming person who conveys a true love for his work and for what he offers his customers. You can sense the passion behind every detail. His wife, on the other hand, is an excellent cook. It's the kind of place where you immediately feel at ease and leave wanting to return. Highly recommended!

15/03/2026: A wonderful Sunday spent at this little restaurant in the village of Sessanio. We ate divinely, delicious, locally sourced vegetarian food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. All this was accompanied by the very kind Mr. Andrea, who expertly explained the origins and ingredients of each dish, expertly prepared by his wife, Barbara. An experience to be repeated, definitely recommended for anyone looking for a different culinary experience!

29/03/2026: A very nice little restaurant, surrounded by greenery. Easy to get to and has free parking. The staff is very friendly, especially the girl at the door and the waitress with the braid. Reservations are required, otherwise you won't find a table. We had reserved a table, but for personal reasons we had to order takeout (THEY DON'T NORMALLY DO THAT). They understood the problem and very kindly met us. The food is very good, it deserves its reputation, we will definitely be back.

23/02/2026: In the center of L'Aquila, just steps from Piazza Duomo and the main street, lies our favorite restaurant in the city. We've been frequenting Da Lincosta since 2019, and it has never disappointed us at every lunch or dinner, always noting an improvement in the quality of the dishes offered. They also recently renovated the restaurant, and in the summer, you can dine on their splendid terrace. The menu changes based on seasonal produce, but some dishes are always present, and having tasted practically all of them over the years, I can confirm what I said above. The wine list is excellent, featuring excellent wines from Abruzzo. The desserts deserve special mention: pastry chef Federico, the owners' son, creates sublime and balanced desserts. Also worth trying is the Sunday breakfast, which is offered in both sweet and savory options, always using homemade products. I recommend booking.

08/12/2025: Delicious ice cream and excellent service. They gave us samples because we were having trouble deciding which one to choose.

18/10/2025: The owner was incredibly kind. He was almost closing, but he still gave us ice cream from the refrigerator and waited patiently. Service makes all the difference, and the ice cream...delicious! Five well-deserved stars.

The potatoes and pizzas are truly excellent, prepared with quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. It's a place I look forward to returning to every time I'm in the area. Mario, a special person with a sublime culture, clearly shows that everything he prepares is made with knowledge, experience, and love. The pizza also deserves a special mention: wow. 20/02/2026: Good and plentiful food. The atmosphere is typical of a historic building (antique rustic style). A little difficult to find (you have to set your GPS to the village post office and then walk into the village from there).

27/01/2026: We decided to try this restaurant for the first time for a family lunch. It's a bit out of the way for those coming from the marina, but it's still worth the trip out of town. The location is meticulously maintained, with service led by an experienced lady and some very young, but truly talented and attentive, young men. Excellent cold appetizers, first and second courses (we tried fried fish, mixed roast, and tuna steak). The only thing that slightly disappointed me was the hot appetizer: two delicious mussel dishes and a cod tart with onions. I would have preferred several small tastings of different dishes, similar to the cold dishes. The wine list is very well-curated, although we ordered the house Cerasuolo without a label, which was truly excellent. The quality/price ratio was average.
