23/07/2026: Compliments to Chef Matteo. Excellent cuisine, a refined take on tradition. The fava bean and chicory soup, the typical local pancotto, and orecchiette with turnip greens, all prepared with care and attention to detail, are truly delicious. We'll be back again.
22/07/2026: The owner of the hotel at the dolmen where we were staying recommended it to us, and it was a wonderful experience. They seated us in the cave, and we ordered appetizers, which were delicious and unique, with a genuine flavor. Then we ordered pizzas, but we had to stop the waiter from bringing more because he'd already brought so many different types and we were full.
The pizza was delicious, with a very light crust. For what we ate, the quality, quantity, and price were truly excellent. I forgot we also had fun with the karaoke. Thanks, we'll be back as soon as we get back.

25/07/2026: Good morning, we went for lunch after touring the beauties of Monte Sant'Angelo.... The restaurant is in the historic center, small, clean and tidy..... We ate well, the local appetizer was average and the quality/price ratio was in line with other restaurants in the area.... Quick service, friendly staff....

06/06/2026: The perfect meal! Nina & Gegè are great hosts, and cook with passion. They can great you with a simple and local meal (with a great deal!), or even put together a Michelin-star level menu if requested. Unforgotable, highly recommended.
01/06/2026: A truly worthwhile 70th birthday dinner. A short but perfectly balanced menu paired with an exceptional local rosé. The Tiramisu dessert was a highlight—delicious! Truly the work of a master chef.

28/06/2026: In the heart of Monte Sant'Angelo, right in front of the Sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo. Very characteristic, inside the dining room there's a rock wall.
We stopped for a quick lunch, everything very homemade and excellent quality. Simple and authentic dishes. Service and availability as per the Puglia lifestyle protocol 🙏❣️. Recommended!
05/06/2026: I had pasta and lamb, and I asked them to make it not too salty, which they did, so I enjoyed the meal. The staff were also friendly.

01/06/2026: We had lunch at Templari yesterday. The service was excellent, and the waitress and owner were incredibly kind. Two first courses—it's hard to say which was the best—were literally exquisite. The octopus appetizer was equally delicious. There's little else to add, you just have to go and try their specialties ❤️
19/05/2026: Delicious food. We had spaghetti alla vongole, oricchiette with turnip greens, and a cheesecake. Everything was generous, tasty, and reasonably priced. Cool atmosphere, great music, you really feel like you're in Italy. The owner is lovely.

23/06/2026: Extremely kind, professional, fast, affordable, and above all, everything was truly delicious!! We had dinner there, sitting at tables with three daughters, a fantastic experience. The fried sandwiches and Nutella strips are highly recommended! It's also very close to the sanctuary. Everyone should come.

27/04/2026: We visited Lido Macchia as a group of six and couldn't have asked for anything better. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing, but the real highlight was the incredible sea view that accompanied the entire meal.

21/06/2026: The location was very nice… but it's not possible that on June 21st the only thing you could buy was water… (only small bottles at the modest sum of €2.00), ZERO food, furthermore when booking they didn't warn us that the restaurant was closed, umbrella + 2 sunbeds €30.00 with no services… ONLY IN THE GARGANO DOES THIS HAPPEN…

07/04/2026: We went on Easter Monday, and near the church of San Michele, this bar was offering a set menu for just over €20. We were hesitant at first, but then we decided to go for it, and we were pleasantly surprised. The pasta was truly excellent, the grilled meat with salad and decent fries was also delicious, and my wife had the grilled caciocavallo cheese, which was also good. We also had wine and water, and a dessert to finish. Go there if you want something quick and easy, and then go for a stroll.

22/05/2026: My friends and I had lunch at this restaurant, run by Angelo, the new owner. He's currently changing management and will be renamed "In Villa" Restaurant.
Perfect welcome. He served us typical local dishes, all cooked with love and professionalism. Both the first and second courses were delicious. I recommend the Troccoli with Apulian ragù and the Apulian Involtino for the second course. I'll gladly return.
