18/04/2026: From the moment that we came through the door to the very last sip of lemoncello, this was an incredible meal and a beautiful and memorable dining experience! The owners are incredible hosts and the food is spectacular. The fact that they change their menu every day makes it a little bit unpredictable but sit down, order, and enjoy! You won’t regret it.

15/04/2026: A local bar owner recomeneded Il Punto Cardinale as his go to spot. We were not disappointed. So much so that we had to pay a second visit. Lovley clean restaurant with comfortable space between tables.The lady runnig the front of house takes time to discuss the menu options. The result tasty well presentented food. Good mix of locals and tourists which is a good sign.

22/04/2026: A place that guarantees excellent traditional Salento dishes and more. Excellent pizzas, first courses, and meat or fish main courses, all prepared with fresh ingredients. Very friendly staff, fast and attentive service.

09/05/2026: After our dinner date we were left truly impressed by our host, Antonio, who took care of us for the evening with the greatest attention to detail. Antonio is the heart of this beautiful place, and he manages to bring up the energy of the room just with his very warm and welcoming demeanor. All this only amplified our experience of savouring the delicacies made in house. Wonderful cuisine, delightful wine, lovely atmosphere. We left the place with a smile and a fullness not only in our stomachs, but also in our hearts. To finish, we sipped on the mirto liquer, reaching a satisfaction that sent us on a triumphant drive home.

09/05/2026: After weeks, my daughter and I finally returned to this wonderful place. The only flaw is that it's so tempting! Mind you, that's not a flaw, but a real compliment! Everything is so delicious, it's mouth-watering! This evening, in addition to the excellent meat, we ordered something from the new seasonal menu: the parmigiana. It's simply fantastic, truly delicious, and I highly recommend trying it! The owner was magnificent as always: courteous and an excellent meat recommendation! He also knows how to accommodate customers' requests. We'll definitely be back. See you soon!

29/04/2026: A great find in beautiful Calimera. From appetizers to pizza, including the schiacciatine, everything is a delight. The service is attentive and friendly, and the prices are more than reasonable, perhaps even a little below average. We'll definitely be back. Recommended.

We ordered two pizzas, both unique, if you can call them gourmet, and I must say they met our expectations; both were very good. The prices are high for the location, but the product is excellent, so it's worth it. A pizza unlike any other that's worth trying.

An experience that successfully combined flavor, tradition, and conviviality. The star of the show were the Molfettese puntarelle, showcased in every dish with great care and creativity, in an evening enriched by the presence of journalists, food, and wine bloggers. All in the splendid setting of Il Vecchio Gazebo, which has established itself as a point of reference: refined cuisine, quality ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home. Making everything even more enjoyable was Ilaria, who served us with rare professionalism and friendliness. She was super welcoming and available throughout the dinner. Congratulations!

29/04/2026: Excellent food. Beautiful atmosphere. We just felt uncomfortable with the waitress, who seemed annoyed, or we felt like we were being watched because she couldn't wait to see our plates empty. It seemed like we had to hurry up and eat.

08/04/2026: A totally unassuming place, typically open in the evenings, but truly worth recommending! It may seem unassuming at first, but that's only a guess. While waiting for our pizza, the waiters offer us tasty appetizers, the main course is delicious, and at the end, we get a farewell drink and ice cream, all for 8 euros. I'll remember this place for a very long time; maybe I'll be able to visit again someday. ;) I highly recommend it!
