12/10/2025: We traveled four hours from Switzerland for a shopping trip in Bergamo, just to try this pizza. It's definitely worth it, and we'll be back 😃 The location is beautiful in the old town, and it's a small and very cozy pizzeria 😃. You immediately feel at home, and the staff welcomes you as if you were part of the family ❤️. The small but lovely garden terrace also invites you to enjoy a cozy dinner in a wonderful atmosphere 🥰. We highly recommend it, and a big thank you again to the staff.

23/10/2025: Highly recommended! 🎉 Very well-stocked with strictly artisanal desserts and pizzas, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. Every product is meticulously crafted, and you can immediately taste the difference compared to other places. The staff is incredibly friendly, always smiling and helpful, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The prices are super fair, especially considering it's located in the city center, where you often pay much more for inferior quality. 09/10/2025: Cute little restaurant. The owners love their job and offer good advice. The food is delicious, with fresh ingredients and everything homemade. Dessert is highly recommended. The panna cotta was delicious.

24/10/2025: I must admit, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. (Not the pizza though) Every other dish we ordered had deep and authentic flavor. However my partners pizza was a bit disappointing. Not too much cheese as we like it, and just didn’t taste as good as other pizza places we had in Rome and other places in Italy. The cuttlefish fish with black ink was interesting and with flavour. The Gnocchi was AMAZING! The Calzone had a perfect crust and was very filling. The service was good as well; professional. Would recommend this place to others for sure but not for the pizza.

25/09/2025: Excellent pizza and delicious desserts prepared directly by their very friendly and knowledgeable staff who know how to recommend and, above all, are very quick to serve. The appetizer was also excellent; those meatballs were really good. The owner even offered us a amaro. An experience we absolutely will repeat.

21/09/2025: A great place to get pizza. The prices are really reasonable, and considering the €5 mini pizza option, it's a good option for a light meal. I ordered a €12 platter with a mini pizza and a beer—a good, complete meal! Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

18/09/2025: Amazing place in Catania. The chopping boards with pizza, cold cuts, cheese, olives and a beverage are a real deal and the food is delicious. Also, wine and Aperol spritz are served generously. We paid 12 EUR for the board with Aperol and 10 EUR for the other board with wine, the ones you can see in the picture. It looks like they only have tables on the street because the joint itself is very small but eating outside in Italy is the way to go! :)

06/10/2025: Here's a special post on gluten-free food. We visited the restaurant twice. All pizzas are gluten-free. The dough is purchased and tastes phenomenal with toppings. The pizzas are prepared in a tray in a wood-fired oven. As a celiac who can tolerate dust contamination, I tolerated the pizzas perfectly. Gluten-free pasta is also available. The very friendly hostess has extensive knowledge of celiac disease and can answer any critical questions. An absolute recommendation for celiacs.

30/08/2025: At this restaurant, you can savor traditional Abruzzo cuisine in a slightly more refined and sophisticated atmosphere than other local restaurants. Their game appetizer, featuring top-quality cured meats, is definitely worth trying. It's plentiful and paired with a "cooked" antipasto featuring a variety of delicious dishes. The first courses were generous, especially the fettuccine with creamy porcini mushrooms and fresh truffle. However, the roe deer-filled ravioli was a bit thick and tough, and the chopped tomatoes on top didn't really add much to the dish. They also offer a wide selection of meat-based main courses, but we preferred the first courses. A wide and interesting selection of desserts, including the truly superb amarena brittle. The girls who served us were knowledgeable, kind, and above all, quick!! We'll definitely be back one evening to try their pizza, which looks delicious.

28/08/2025: We went to Giardino di Andrea during our vacation, recommended by a family member who frequents the place often. We couldn't have found a better place! The atmosphere is refined yet makes everyone feel at ease. Service is quick, friendly, and attentive, yet not intrusive. The pizza selection is extensive, with fair prices and absolutely spectacular quality! The dough is light, slightly thicker than a classic Roman round pizza. Top-quality ingredients paired beautifully, creating a gourmet experience. We had a truly unique appetizer of game cold cuts. The staff explained everything to us, and it was truly delicious. The fillet steak was also fabulous! The prices are more than fair; in fact, we were surprised by the bill when it arrived, as we honestly thought we'd pay more. This will be a place we'll visit again when we return here on vacation.

10/09/2025: PARKING Before you sit down at your table, Al Tiglio offers you an adventure-movie prologue: the search for parking. It's not impossible, but it's the kind of mission that earns you dinner. In the end, when you walk in, you feel like a hero who's conquered the relic. ATMOSPHERE The place isn't big, and that's a good thing. Because every detail seems designed with the precision of a Japanese calligrapher. Just the right lighting, thoughtful furnishings, no excess. Picturesque on the outside, bright on the inside: in the summer, the outdoor tables seem already taken by the cheerful chatter you can't wait to hear. THE MENU Not vegan? It doesn't matter. Here, the kitchen doesn't ask you for party membership, it simply knocks you out. The dishes don't try to "imitate" the carnivorous tradition, but challenge it to a duel. And they often win. You can choose a guided tour, like in a gastronomic theme park where each stop is a surprise you'd never imagine ordering alone. LOTS OF SMOKE AND... A TWIST The signature dish is this: "Lots of smoke and no roast." A name that seems designed to mock you, but it throws you off at the first bite. It looks like meat. It smells like meat. It fools you like a magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat. Except here, there's no rabbit... there. Vegetable fillet with creamed carrots and mustard: a dish that, if served blind, could send even a cattle farmer into a tailspin. DESSERT: THE FINAL APPLAUSE The desserts arrive, and you realize you're not in a restaurant: you're in a theater. Every bite is the final act, the applause that closes the show. Sweetness that's never cloying, a harmony of flavors that don't try to please everyone, but succeed nonetheless. THE SERVICE The staff doesn't just bring dishes, they bring stories. They explain, recount, and guide you. They ask you sincerely how you found your meal, and as you answer, you notice a smile. It's that kind attention that makes dinner a complete experience, not just a meal. PRICES Those looking for a "light" bill are in the wrong place here. Al Tiglio doesn't play for cheap: what you pay is exactly what you get. And what you get is vegan haute cuisine that makes you forget all about labels. Fair price, immense value. CONCLUSION Five stars, without hesitation. Al Tiglio is living proof that vegan cuisine isn't a second-rate option, but an art that can make you laugh at the most common prejudice: "Hey, but without meat, it's just not the same." Right: here, it's much better.
