24/01/2026: My boyfriend had BBQ ribs, and I chose tagliatelle with a cheese sauce and pepper. The food was absolutely delicious 👌🏻 For drinks, we had an Aperol Spritz, which wasn’t on the menu, but the staff prepare it for us. There is a beautiful view of the sea and a nearby lighthouse from the restaurant. Overall, the experience was great, and the service was excellent as well. 😊🙏🏻

It's a restaurant that strives for quality. You can see it in the menu, the dishes, the cooking style, the service (attentive and professional), and even the ambiance, but...
It's NOT possible to attract a certain type of clientele and simultaneously have an 18th dinner with blasting music! You ruin everything you're trying to build with your restaurant and those waiters so suited to that kind of restaurant!
The ambiance often makes up 50% of the restaurant's value and represents 50% of the chances that the customer will return.
Now, let's pretend I've been to this restaurant before, enjoyed it, and consider it suitable for an important business dinner for... 6 people.
"I'll take you to a nice place in Augusta."
I book.... And find the 18th dinner playing loudly all evening???? But no way.
Too bad. I would have talked about the food; that would have been a good review....
That's not how it's done.

07/12/2025: We had lunch at the Cozza d’Oro on our visit to Sicily. This is our second trip and again this seafood restaurant gem!! The location atmosphere and food was a 10!! Maurizio Bruno and chef and staple of the Cozza d’Oro Cettina were wonderful! We had a variety of fresh seafood also fried and some delicious pasta and seafood dishes ! Highly recommend La Cozza d’Oro of Augusta Sicily .
13/10/2025: I have been here twice in 2018 & 2025 and I must say that here I felt the most chilled atmosphere. Food is good and has a touch of gourmet to complete each dish. Definitely recommended.

21/12/2025: The waitress sat me down and stared at me while we read the menu.
I ordered a peppered mussel dish and a quarter of red wine. The mussels (15 count, two of which were inedible and one closed) arrived after 15 minutes, and the wine was too cold and sour. I paid €17, including a €2 blanket (€2 to wash a plate and a fork?).
I WON'T RETURN!!! Not even worth a star. Only the bread was delicious.

In Sicilia si mangia bene ed abbondante ed anche qui non siamo rimasti delusi.
Davvero tutto buono.
Lo consiglio anche per la carne alla brace.

22/03/2025: Per essere un sabato sera servizio incredibilmente veloce ma poco attento, abbiamo dovuto chiedere noi il pane e non sono riuscito ad attirare l'attenzione di alcuna cameriera per avere delle fettine di limone, che comunque a mio avviso andrebbero servite sempre assieme alla frittura di pesce, per poi rinunciarvi dopo 10 minuti. In merito c'è da dire che i calamari risultavano un po' gommosi e i pesci un po' troppo grandi per essere adatti al piatto (se li mangi con tutta la lisca rischi di perforare l'esofago!). Il salmone preso da mia moglie in compenso risultava veramente ben cotto e ben condito! Conto nella media e in linea con le aspettative
02/01/2025: Sono stata al cenone del 31/12/24.
Aperitivo mai ricevuto, ne cocktail e ne quel minimo di rustico.
Immangiabile l’ antipasto salato 1 bignè e 1 cannolo piccolo, entrambi ripieni di Filadelfia e ricotta… quelli circolavano a quantità.
La loro risposta Tutto esaurito o errore di battitura laddove si chiedeva ciò che era scritto nel menú.
Quantità al di sotto del minimo indispensabile, crudo e insapore.
Qualità/prezzo non lo consiglio.
80 euro buttati…. Mai più.
Tutto misero, portavano senza problemi solo il vino.

30/07/2023: Era un ottimo ristorante di pesce, e ci andavamo spesso a cenare. A mio parere è stata una scelta pessima cambiare attività, e imbattersi in qualcosa che non si è in grado di fare, come in questo caso le pizze. Vi consiglierei di tornare quello che eravate, ma meglio di prima.
