09/05/2024: Simple but well-kept location, well-set tables, efficient service, courteous, too quick in explaining the dishes and not very empathetic, we chose the land menu. The dishes and flavors are good, very close to a starred one even if with a decidedly lower price, the first filling is excellent, the combinations are beautiful both in presentation and flavours, the dessert is good, especially the ice cream with mountain milk. Definitely worth trying and returning

04/05/2024: Really beautiful location, they let us sit in their cellar, privacy and characteristic place. We had tasting menus, really good and refined dishes as well as the explanation of each individual course. Everything was perfect until they forced our hand in trying to get us bottles of wine with quite high prices and brought us unsolicited bitters. At the end we were about to get up and they brought us two bottles of water, also not ordered, so we had them brought back...despite this, a minute later they were brought back and opened at the table, we were quite incredulous...all good but what embarrassing scenes!

18/05/2024: I DO NOT RECOMMEND NEGATIVE QUALITY/PRICE RATIO DUE TO THEFT! CHANGE LOCATION!!! There are better ones even without a star! Absurd experience. Let's go in order. The environment is dated, I don't understand why keep carpets under the tables which can hardly be cleaned daily. The owners' dog, as cute as he is, doesn't make sense for him to be free to wander around the tables. The service absolutely non-existent. I enter a starred restaurant and leave without even knowing who the chef is, what his gastronomic path is. We ask for a bread refill and stale bread is brought to us. Absurd! You can see my braised ravioli in the photo: 2 buttons because this was the size and two others with a pea cream inside. €35 ABSURD! Then I take the breaded brain, look at it, I didn't cut it, it was exactly like that. €45 ABSURD for a piece of fried brains. TRULY EMBARRASSING RESTAURANT WITH THEFT PRICES! €290 FOR TWO!!!

Never banal dishes that know how to mix the fundamental contrast of flavors very well. Modern and elegant environment and equipment. Complete wine list. 04/05/2024: Very, very small portions like in the Master Chef program - a quarter of a potato in a dish with chicken, a tiny piece of eel, two small portions of duck. The flavors of the dishes are very refined and specific, some not to everyone's taste, such as risotto with sardines - I personally didn't like it. The eel is very fatty. The duck is more raw than baked. Well, maybe that's the beauty of this restaurant. Everyone raves and we complain. The staff did not inform us that the duck dish contained foie gras, duck fat. We are against animal abuse. Knowing this, we would not order this dish, especially since this practice is banned in most countries. The dishes were presented very aesthetically and looked just like in the photo. The service was polite. The interior and surroundings of the Zu restaurant complement the amazing panorama of Lake Iseo. For us, this is the restaurant's greatest advantage. The prices at Ristorante Zu are quite high. Dishes around 30 euros and above, beer 20 euros. Parking is available at the restaurant.

Beautiful inside and out, friendly and attentive staff. we took the tasting menu (7 courses) for €75 each. and it was very much to our taste: the courses had a nice presentation and the ideas behind the dishes were very nice. All the dishes of the tasting stood out for a well-balanced note of acidity, which we love. In the end we were satisfied with the location, the price, and the food. Too bad they only have one restaurant... we want you in Milan too

21/03/2024: Excellent restaurant with pampered cuisine and exquisite flavors. The treatment of the staff at the height of the site. Reservation is recommended, it is not very big, max 25 people. The dining room does not lack details, centerpieces, lamps, etc. The food is very delicious, low quality products and the house pasta, of course.

28/03/2024: We recently stayed at this property and really appreciated the welcome and kindness of the staff. The room was large, clean and bright. The breakfast is varied and of high quality with local products. The hotel is in the center of the village and you can get around easily on foot. Very recommended and we will definitely be back.
