10/01/2026: This trattoria was recommended to us for an authentic local meal. Located on a terrace with a magnificent view in a square not far from the entrance to the old town, it offers a wide selection of indoor and outdoor seating, both for lunch and dinner. The kitchen is open late to meet the needs of its clientele. The menu features traditional dishes, featuring quality local artisanal products. The service staff is attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, we only realized upon our return that we had paid twice for both coffee and dessert: an unpleasant surprise. After reporting the issue, the manager verified the error and refunded the amount incorrectly paid. Thank you!

06/01/2026: Went to a restaurant with friends on Epiphany Day: everything was great, food, service (the waiters were really kind and attentive, always smiling). I was a guest, so I don't know the bill, but from the menu, the prices seemed average. Highly recommended!

The first time I went was with a colleague from Poggio Moiano, and I liked both Pino and Anna and the place, simple and welcoming. The cuisine is traditional, made with good ingredients and served with love. I've been coming here ever since. Their daughters Doriana and Silvia and their grandchildren help run the restaurant. 26/12/2025: Always a great experience here at Taverna del Tiranno: I've tried it on several occasions, especially for lunch during short trips out of the Sabine-Rieti area (for example, it's just minutes from Farfa Abbey and many other charming little villages worth visiting). Even during this latest offering—a Christmas lunch with family and relatives—Raniero, his partner, and their team proved to be an excellent team in charge of the dining room and kitchen, demonstrating courtesy, simplicity, friendliness, and that touch of rusticity and refinement that distinguishes them. The Christmas tasting menu was incredibly balanced in flavors and portions, allowing us to fully savor each dish and arrive at the coffee shop feeling happy, satisfied, and not weighed down. Kudos to the selection of local ingredients and the extensive and well-rounded wine cellar, offering local and Italian wines (with a few excursions beyond the Alps), with a special focus on small, artisanal and sustainable producers, including labels that will please natural wine lovers. 03/11/2025: We were yesterday, Sunday 2 November, for lunch at this restaurant.... EVERYTHING EXCELLENT, in a welcoming, nice and simple place we were served and revered, GENUINE, ABUNDANT AND TRULY EXCELLENT dishes. It rarely happens to find yourself in similar environments, you feel at home and you eat in such a satisfying way. The owner is very kind and with his friendliness and speed made this lunch extremely enjoyable. THANKS AGAIN WE WILL BE BACK, STARTER 10, Fettuccine with Porcini Mushrooms 10, Fried Calamari 10, Zuppa inglese 10! The only downside, but it was Sunday.... the bread at the table was a bit old. DELLA XASA SPARKLING WHITE WINE 10! SEE YOU SOON!

23/11/2025: Proprio come dice il nome, qui il Gelato è proprio d'Autore!A parte le battute, a mio avviso è una delle migliori gelaterie di Roma.Le creme sono eccezionali, i sapori veri e ben definiti... Che dire poi dell'infinita scelta di gusti? Davvero, è vastissima, partendo dai classici come la stracciatella a gusti più ricercati come il maracuja al basilico!

And best part for us that kitchen was open at 6 (even they do “orario continuato”) which is unusual for Italy. 20/11/2025: Good morning, I'm writing to express my profound dissatisfaction and indignation regarding the unacceptable situation with my package, which has been stuck at the Fara in Sabina post office for days without any explanation or update. It's unacceptable for a shipment to remain stuck for so long without anyone taking the responsibility to intervene or at least provide clear information. I've checked the status of the shipment several times, and it's been stuck in the same spot for days, with no progress. I hope you'll take action to avoid associating Fara in Sabina with the post office "stealing" your packages. Unfortunately, patience has run out. Best regards.

16/11/2025: The restaurant is refined and welcoming, with a warm, intimate atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The dishes are meticulously crafted and enhanced by fresh, select ingredients. We started with a charcuterie board with truly unique flavors, followed by a creamy onion soup with shaved truffle: one of the best I've ever tasted, surprising and memorable. The dish that struck me most, however, was the crispy suckling pig served on a creamy beetroot soup (if I remember correctly): simply spectacular. The service was prompt and the prices were average, especially considering the high quality of the ingredients.
