29/04/2026: We went here on the recommendation of friends, and it was excellent!
From the ambiance to the service and cuisine, everything was excellent; the carbonara was spectacular, as was the grilled cuttlefish.
The owner welcomes you and makes you feel at home; he's friendly and helpful... oh, and mopping up the bread is a must!
We'll definitely be back!
21/04/2026: A delightful experience at this Roman restaurant. Each dish was prepared with care and attention to the ingredients and raw materials.
The amatriciana is definitely worth trying, as is the traditional oxtail stew. The artichoke is very delicious. They also offer a wide selection of wines.
The owner, Roman chef Carlo Pellizzardi, is very kind, friendly, and professional, as is the entire wait staff.
The prices are average, perfectly in line with the quality and quantity of what's served.
We'll definitely return to try the other dishes on the menu.

21/08/2026: Everything was perfect: enchanting location, impeccable service, a bread basket to die for, and an extensive wine list with super-fair markups. All the dishes we tried were delicious, from the amuse bouche to the small pastries, everything was perfect. The musical entertainment was wonderful. Well done.

We had a bit of everything: the pizza was good, the double burger with fries was good, and the fried calamari was just the right amount of crispiness. Based on our experience, we can only recommend it, and we'll definitely be back.

They're incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Excellent food.
16/08/2026: I went for lunch today with my husband. I chose this place by chance. As soon as I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. I found a small, homey atmosphere, full of memories hanging on the walls, and clean. The owners are very friendly, and after a short while, they make you feel like family. And what can I say about the food? Delicious, homemade, and very well cooked. And then there's the little mascot, Ottavia, the dachshund who discreetly roams among the tables. We'll definitely be back. 😘

12/07/2026: July 11, 2026, I arrive in Casteggio for the beer festival, but the party starts in the evening and then on Sunday. I search Maps for reviews of a restaurant with home-cooked food, fair price/quality... And the result is Leon D'oro, 5-star reviews. Spot on. Real reviews. We ate and drank just the right amount. The entire menu tasted just right. I had the daily menu, all fresh, 5 stars. Marco, the owner, was great and friendly, even with me, even though it was my first time there. To be top-notch, I recommend freshening up the atmosphere. Thank you so much, Marco.

13/08/2026: We spent two nights at this wonderful resort and winery, surrounded by greenery, hills, and vineyards, and we were truly thrilled.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the kind, helpful, and friendly staff, who made us feel immediately at home.
I was traveling with someone with mild disabilities, and the entire staff helped us in every way, with a rare sensitivity and naturalness.
We never felt uncomfortable; on the contrary, we felt welcomed and supported in every way. This is something we greatly appreciated.
The rooms are beautiful, clean, tidy, and very comfortable, equipped with everything you need, even a small refrigerator. The atmosphere is cool, quiet, and relaxing, perfect for those who want to get away from it all and enjoy a few days of tranquility.
We also enjoyed the pool, which was truly pleasant, with clear, clean, and slightly salty water.
The entire property is meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail and is truly splendid, especially for its location and breathtaking view. Having breakfast with such a view was a true pleasure: the buffet was generous, and the setting made every morning even more special.
It was truly a shame to have to leave!
We will definitely return, because they were two days of pure relaxation in a beautiful place, made even more special by the kindness and attentiveness of all the staff and the owners we had the pleasure of meeting.

28/06/2026: We decided to entrust our wedding cake to La Dolce Vita, and I must say we were thrilled with the cake and how Edoardo managed to achieve exactly what I had in mind: soft and fresh, and the chocolate wasn't too cloying—in other words, sweet! Thank you also for making the dessert on the side for our celiac friend, who loved it.
Many thanks also to Ezio, who delivered the cake to the farmhouse.

Ritorneremo sicuramente.
