19/10/2025: Excellent restaurant with traditional dishes. Wonderfully friendly staff. Very good food and generous portions. The house red wine is also good. And it's reasonably priced, too. Highly recommended. Reservations are recommended.
19/10/2025: Excellent food, nice, simple, slightly rustic setting, and a lovely view of the lake. Service was a bit slow today, but I hope that's not always the case. Generous portions, top-notch staff.

21/02/2026: We stopped for lunch and had a really good time. The food was excellent, the waitress who served us was helpful and always smiling, and the prices are very competitive.
03/02/2026: A magical place recommended by my friend Sara. Excellent service in a uniquely charming setting. Everything in the restaurant and their beautiful bistro is top-notch. I'll definitely be back.

18/08/2025: We visit here every year, superb old school crusty rolls and very full, super friendly staff.
Maurizio is the Don and his English is better than my woeful Italian.
You can reserve rolls for later collection which is handy.
A must see on the Island.

10/11/2025: A very cool location; weather permitting, I recommend the garden, right on the lake; alternatively, the terrace offers a lovely view. I split a plate of delicious Mont'Isola salami and chose tagliolini topped with lake sardines for my first course (good, but you have to like lake fish; otherwise, go for the roast, which had a lovely crust). The price, given the location, is affordable. Both the garden and terrace are wheelchair accessible.

12/02/2026: We visited in winter, when most places were closed, so it was especially nice to find this café open and serving hot food. Elena is a very kind and welcoming owner, and she made us fall even more in love with this beautiful place. The coffee was excellent too. A truly cozy and comforting stop.

09/12/2025: Excellent location, fantastic lake view, clean, tidy, the food in their restaurant was divine, top marks for the dessert.
The waitress, whose name I didn't ask, was friendly and welcoming.
But the owner, Nicola, was no exception.
16/11/2025: The hotel is a bit dated, but it's clean and tidy and in a fantastic location. The staff has a unique family atmosphere. The restaurant was a surprise: cuisine using local products, prepared in an original way by a young and knowledgeable team... truly delicious. Must try.

02/01/2026: A terrible experience. Certainly one from which there's little to learn, except that sometimes appearances can be deceiving. The place presents itself as a trattoria, but the level of everything, from service to hygiene, is so spartan that it quickly (and not brilliantly) turns it into a medieval-style dive. The same flavor characterized the sardines brought to our table: an aftertaste somewhere between bitter disappointment at the poor choice and a slightly dusty, slightly musty basement. The Brescian sweets, the name of which I can't remember because I'm having a hard time remembering mine due to stomach cramps, had a filling that was either raw, uncooked, or leftover from Christmas Eve, but not from this year. Completing the Beksinski of the restaurant was a beautiful ant (a poor innocent victim of the place's extremely poor hygiene) drowned in a less than appealing bath of oil, accompanying a common pasta dish. I regret not leaving during one of the long waits between ordering and serving.

Everything else: terrible food and drinks, poor service, and poor overall maintenance.
Thank goodness it only opens once every five years!

06/12/2025: Excellent restaurant with a lake fish menu, the chef's creations are very interesting (spaghetti with dried sardines and tagliatelle with lake ragù are worth the visit alone). The location is intriguing, with a terrace overlooking the lake (in the lake). The bill is a bit "salty," but the quality of the catch (and a few bottles of wine...) justify the trip and the lunch.

27/10/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo dopo diversi anni. Location sempre top e piatti ancora più buoni. Non lo avevamo provato con lo chef attuale.
Mangiato le migliori sarde in vita nostra ed un primo molto gustoso. Anche i dolci ci sono molto piaciuti.
Ci torneremo di sicuro, bravissimi!
