I've been coming to this restaurant for 3-4 years now, and every time I return, it's always a pleasure!

18/08/2025: First time at Taverna, and the experience deserves 5 shining stars in every way. Guglielmo, the dining room captain, guides the diners' palates admirably. There's no overpowering flavor, and delicacy reigns supreme in every course. The professional yet friendly service brightens the table. A special mention goes to the salmon ravioli in a red coat with caviar and shrimp, rated 10 on the plate! Taverna di Vico truly deserves a place among life's true pleasures.

07/09/2025: My friends and I left Rome for Campoli Appennino to spend a Sunday together. We discovered a naturally beautiful, well-kept village with a wildlife area home to two wonderful brown bears. We booked lunch at the "Stuzzicantina" and it far exceeded our expectations. Marco and his daughter Giulia were very welcoming and attentive. The service was super efficient, fast, and impeccable. And the cuisine was truly excellent, thanks to the skill of Paola, Marco's wife and Giulia's mother, who at the end of lunch popped in from the kitchen and offered us more desserts. She cooks everything with a desire to please because she knows what she's bringing to the table. We concluded the trip with a visit to the big banquet... I return with the bears in my heart, with the big banquet, but above all with the urge to share the excellent quality of the "Stuzzicantina" lunch here. Thank you, Marco, Paola, and Giulia.

31/08/2025: The atmosphere is welcoming and intimate. The place is very well-kept, and the man who served us was extremely friendly and professional. The food was excellent, with special mention for the chicken steak and the tart. We highly recommend it, and we'll be back.

02/08/2025: We stopped to break up the journey from Brescia to Calabria. It was an excellent choice; we added dinner to the overnight stay with breakfast, two adults and a child. The price was reasonable. Beautiful view and a tour of the stables, chicken coop, and crops. I recommend it.

30/07/2025: A beautiful farmhouse convenient to the highway. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and a crib is available. Excellent dinner and breakfast featuring products from their farm. You can see the animals in their stables and enjoy the outdoors.

23/06/2025: Giulia ci ha supportato sin dal primo istante che abbiamo scelto loro come location, sembra di stare in famiglia per come ci hanno accolto sia noi sposi che il nostro piccolo Nathan❤️ i camerieri genitillissimi, Giulia e Lorenzo disponibili in tutto 🥰 ci siamo sentiti a casa 😍 Il mangiare è stato buonissimo, i nostri invitati sono rimasti tutti a bocca aperta per quanto cibo c'era hanno fatto tutti il bis e addirittura il tris 🥰❤️ La piscina spettacolare, con il loro buffet di dolci a non finire. Poi che dire, la grotta, un luogo meravigliosamente Unico, dove poter dare le nostre bomboniere ed assaporare dei liquori, rum e sigari. In poche parole la “tenuta IL SOGNO” è davvero un SOGNO, meraviglioso ed UNICO😍 Giada e Silvio

This family-run restaurant has been around for decades and continues to uphold the same incredibly high standards of quality and care that date back to when the owner’s mother used to cook in the kitchen. When you imagine a true Italian trattoria—where everything is handmade, from the prosciutto and pasta to the sauces and desserts—this is exactly what comes to mind. There’s no cutting corners here. Every bite reflects a legacy of passion and tradition that’s increasingly rare to find. This restaurant also holds a deeply personal meaning for our family. My Nono used to walk over an hour from his house just to eat here, swearing they made the best tripe he’d ever had. This summer, we returned to Torrice for a family reunion and decided to honour his memory by making a reservation for 13 of us—grandparents, siblings, and grandkids included. It turned out to be one of the most memorable meals of our entire trip. The food was off-the-charts spectacular. From the handmade pasta to the generous antipasti, everything was bursting with flavour and clearly made with care. The wine flowed, the service was warm and attentive, and the desserts capped things off perfectly. We ordered so much food and loved it so much that we ended up staying far longer than planned—just so we could enjoy every last bite. The tripe was, of course, a standout. My parents both ordered it in tribute to Nono, and after just one taste, they completely understood why he used to walk so far to get it. They were so impressed, they each ordered seconds—not because they were still hungry, but because it was simply too good to pass up. Trattoria da Sestilio isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a living piece of culinary history, full of warmth, tradition, and soul. Whether you have roots in the area or are just passing through, this is one of those special places that leaves a lasting impression. We can’t wait to return.

20/07/2025: I went today with friends, and we had a great time! The place is a traditional trattoria, with fresh handmade pasta. The Sunday cannelloni were delicious! The sour cherry tart was out of this world. They offer—and be warned, offer—bruschetta as an appetizer and sweet treats at the end. The owner welcomed us into his home (literally, back in the day, it's a great story, ask him!), and the staff were kind and friendly, and the service was fast. The price was fair and reasonable (generous portions!) I had a starter, a main course, red and white wine, dessert, coffee, liqueur, water, and cover charge—all for €30. In Rome, I would have paid €50 and eaten less. We'll gladly return!

25/08/2025: First time but very surprised by the location, the service, and not to mention the pizza, truly spectacular. I would have eaten two more. The Sacher cake was sublime.

25/08/2025: We had a wonderful time at this place! The staff were welcoming (the waitress, Celeste, was really helpful), and the place's design is beautiful. It was crowded, but despite that and our delay, we waited less than 5 minutes for a table. We started with a fried fish each and finished with a delicious pizza, accompanied by a rosé wine. We were pleased because the pizza dough was very light! Despite the thick toppings, we didn't feel heavy. At the end of the evening, we had to go downtown Cassino, but we were having such a good time that we ordered a cocktail. So: 1 fried fish, 1 pizza, wine and water, and a cocktail to finish... we spent €31, which I'd say is excellent value!
