The ingredients are top-quality, and the fish is fresher than some seafood restaurants...

06/10/2025: I'll start by saying that the quality of the cold cuts is beyond question, even the torta fritta was very good, because the ingredients were truly good.
The bill was out of the ordinary: two torta fritta, two first courses, and a bottle of Coke, €70 for two.
Eight obviously industrial ravioli, more than a euro per ravioli, practically, lasagna made the day before, but still good.
No one criticizes the €35 per person, but you keep the prices reasonable for what you offer. I understand the rustic location, I understand the tradition, but you can't have prices like a restaurant in the city center.
I sat for 20 minutes with the wind in my back because the front door was open (it was 13 degrees), the kitchen door that leads to the dining room was open, and I had to take my clothes to the dry cleaners because they were infested with fried food.
€5 for two tablespoons of giardiniera in a small container... Come on...
A bottle of Coke for €6, we're way off the mark... It's €4 everywhere else, €5 in a luxury restaurant, and non-vintage Coke.
€4 for two, in the cold, surrounded by the smell, I wouldn't even have asked.
€3 for two coffees, a fair price, but if I'm referring to the place, no.
We didn't order dessert because we repeatedly saw a waiter push the slice of cake onto the plate with his fingers because it wouldn't come off the server. Maybe he'd just cleared a table earlier, so don't do that in the middle of the room.
Never again, I'm sorry because the fried cake and the cold cuts were really good.

The prices of the dishes are fair, the cover charge is a bit high, the cost of the "quartino" of Ortrugo is perhaps excessive.

05/10/2025: Excellent trattoria. The atmosphere maintains the typical Piacenza trattoria feel. Welcoming, tidy, and clean. Excellent service, with very friendly and attentive staff. The dishes are high-quality and delicious. The mixed cured meats appetizer with torta fritta was truly delicious and plentiful. I also had pisarei e faso, which were divinely prepared. A taste of the fried river fish, including eel, catfish, and frog, was excellent.
We shared a portion for two for the first and second courses, as the portions were very generous.
I'd say the price was very reasonable for what we tasted.
Highly recommended.

29/09/2025: My husband and I went to have lunch here and the service was terrible, we ordered two drinks and a bottle of water and the water never came and they tried to charge us for it anyways. We also ordered one tartar and two dishes of pasta. They served the tartar and just one of the dishes and it took them more than thirty minutes to bring the other pasta dish. We also ordered a glass of wine and they never served it. The bread they served us was incomplete (the other tables had two types of bread, us just one type) and really stiff. Before we paid, we complained to the manager and the guy who server us but they didn’t even apologize. On top of that, it was so expensive, 67€ for one beer, one glass of wine, one tartar and two pasta dishes.
24/09/2025: A place where quality is evident from the first bite.
There were three of us with an 8:00 PM reservation, and our table was ready when we arrived. We were greeted immediately, and the ordering and delivery times were perfect: the sparkling water arrived immediately, followed by the 2024 Ortrugo wine, fresh and of excellent quality.
For our appetizer, we shared a pizza: very light, well-aired dough, and excellent ingredients. It truly exceeded our expectations.
The first courses were perfectly cooked and presented: the portions were just right, not excessive.
We finished with a shared dessert: spectacular in both presentation and flavor, much appreciated also thanks to the kindness of the waiter, who brought us three small cutlery sets so we could all sample it.
The atmosphere is refined, but I would point out the lack of tablecloths as a negative: only the tablecloths remain on the tables, and this detail is a bit out of place with the €3 cover charge.
Otherwise, the service was friendly and attentive, with clear prices both on the menu and on the bill. We spent around €30 each, a fair price for the quality and experience offered.
Best dish of the evening: the pizza, thanks to an excellent dough and top-quality ingredients.
A place worth remembering: here the pizza is surprising, the first courses are convincing, and the dessert leaves a smile on your face.

16/08/2025: So first of all the Customer is always right "that said the pizzas are not always excellent they are too thin with little toppings and the last time he prepared 4 take-away pizzas in 5 minutes, in fact when he wanted to eat at home they were completely dry with very little toppings, the rush of the pizza chef in preparing the super fast pizzas played against the customer who, like me, was hoping to eat a delicious pizza, this pizzeria has some flaws.
19/07/2025: Excellent pizza, thin yet crispy like a breadstick. At first, we were a little worried about the size, but thanks to the unique, highly digestible dough, we managed to finish it without any problems. The place is very spacious and bright. Very friendly staff, ample parking outside, 2 pizzas, water, a quarter of wine, and a coffee cost €30, which was more than reasonable.

13/04/2025: Siamo stati ospitati in questa struttura per una notte,camera pulita e comoda. Cena ottima,abbiamo gradito davvero tutto dall’inizio alla fine. La Sig.ra Elena ed il suo papà persone splendide e disponibili. L’agriturismo è davvero molto bello,sembra di essere fuori dal mondo per l’ aria di tranquillità che si respira.

08/02/2025: Torta fritta e spalla cotta ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo . Arrosto di vitello due fettine sottili senza nemmeno il pane a 12 euro non ci siamo proprio. Buona la qualità ma per quel prezzo non è possibile due fettine millimetriche mi sembra veramente eccessivo. Non siamo rimasti soddisfatti .
