25/12/2025: I'll start by saying that I've dined at the Chitantolo restaurant a few times, and the quality of the fish is very high. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the place is tidy—everything is just how I like it. The Christmas Eve takeout was a real treat for my husband and me. Thank you!!!

28/02/2026: You can eat fried cake, cured meats, gorgonzola that looks like cream, and equally fabulous desserts. If you're a fan of this food, it's the ideal place... super.

08/03/2026: The restaurant has a modern look and is tastefully decorated. The place was packed, so there was a bit of a wait, but the service was very attentive. They served both pizza and seafood and meat dishes. The pizza isn't Neapolitan, but it's not thin and crispy either. It wasn't the best I've ever had, and the prosciutto was so salty it was unpleasant. However, I'll be back to try the restaurant's dishes, as they look very inviting.

04/03/2026: Unfortunately, I have to change my review to a negative one. Previously, upon arrival, the table already had welcome appetizers: seasoned black olives, battered zucchini, and fried bread balls, which were very nice. Now, they've only kept the fried bread balls. I think that since they decide to offer such a free service, it doesn't make sense to reduce the service later if you obviously lose points. Either you don't do a gesture from the start, or it's unfair to reduce it as time goes by. The pizzas are truly gigantic, very thin, nothing to complain about; they're very good. It's a shame they took the homemade cheesecake off the menu, which was delicious. Last time, however, we had the millefeuille, which was even too big, but we didn't really like it because it was very dry and made your mouth feel sticky. They offer digestifs—limoncino, melon, and licorice liqueur—brought directly to the table in glass bottles, so you can drink as much as you want. However, I've noticed that between lunch and dinner, the service is less attentive in the evening. At lunchtime, it's better. However, the last time we went there for dinner, it was rather slow and distracted. Our water wasn't brought long after we'd ordered it, our drinks were even brought first, and the chili pepper oil for our pizza took so long that it almost made no sense to use it anymore, given that it was running out. A disappointment.

10/03/2026: A Sunday lunch away from home, savoring traditions we've never seen before. Rusticity and flavor are the hallmarks of their dishes. A generous appetizer with cured meats, giardiniera, gorgonzola, and endless torta fritta. For our first course, we had pisarei e fasoi (a type of pasta with beans) and ricotta ravioli: the best we've ever had. After the first courses, there was still room to share a freshwater fried fish: the lightest fried fish. We finished with dessert and left with a smile. Thank you, Professor Persegani, we'll be back!

16/01/2026: We came for a birthday party. Everything was great, the atmosphere was very nice, and the food was good. The fried dumplings were excellent, and the pisciolini were delicious.

26/12/2025: Despite the rainy day, I specifically asked to be taken to a small restaurant along the banks of the Po River, and the place turned out exactly as I expected. Classic and traditional dishes, well-made. Quick and well-served, with more than fair prices. I managed to rediscover that taste of times gone by! Well done!

18/03/2026: A real trip, a real sin of gluttony

31/12/2025: The pizza is good but the fish is frozen from a pizzeria. 3 of us had 2 starters, 2 first courses, 1 second course, 1 pizza, a good bottle (€35), a bottle of wine, a beer, coffee and a digestive 60 each. I don't know what the meat dishes are like, but the pizza is ok but avoid the fish.

07/03/2026: We ate some truly amazing seafood, enjoying excellent appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The shrimp tartare and linguine with clams were absolutely stunning! The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Francesco welcomed us with great warmth, making the experience even more enjoyable. On our next visit, we'll also try the pizzas: they were truly galactic! 😁

22/02/2026: This was our first time there, and I have to say it was worth it! We tried practically everything, from the pizza to the starters and main courses. Excellent Neapolitan cuisine, and I'd love to hear about the pizza (I'll start by saying that I'm not a big fan of the thicker ones), but this one was delicious and light. The staff was attentive and friendly.
