17/01/2026: A typical Modena restaurant, offering good, high-quality food. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes guests feel welcome. We dined on a Friday evening, when they serve Borlenghi with lard and cheese, a delicacy you simply must try. The service was fast and attentive. Highly recommended.
27/12/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, friendly and fast service. Excellent tigelle accompanied by exquisite cured meats and cheeses, top-quality tagliata, delicious tortelloni with gorgonzola and walnuts. The only flaw was the profiteroles dessert, which didn't live up to the standard of the dishes.

08/02/2026: The best Italian restaurant I frequented in 2002-2003, where I truly tasted the best Italian pasta dishes and the soufflé cooked in olive oil accompanied by prosciutto di Parma, something I've never tasted anywhere else, even while traveling in other countries.
I would go back.
01/02/2026: A historic Modena restaurant, I ate there for the first time over 40 years ago. The first courses and crescentine are always excellent.

05/06/2025: I am so sad this place is closed. I am traveling to that are area in 2 weeks and was so looking forward to being there. I am American and was introduced to this restaurant and owner by my friend Marco and always loved everything about this place, especially the lasagna (once made for us) and the tortellini. My best to the owner and her family.

18/01/2026: Tired and hungry, we decided to take a short off-piste hike, which turned out to be an excellent choice. I personally stuffed myself, but the authentic flavors stayed with me all the way to dessert.
Simple, healthy food, many of which were farmed on site: a wonderful memory.
07/01/2026: A welcoming place, friendly service, and excellent food, especially the tortellini in broth and crescentine, along with their homemade ricotta and jams. Fair prices. Recommended.

25/12/2025: We had lunch in early December at a trattoria like it used to be. We had a trio of tortelli with ricotta and mushrooms, pumpkin, and chestnut, and two portions of fried polenta with mushrooms, pancetta, and stracchino cheese. Everything was excellent, and the portions were generous. The service and the location were both excellent. The price was average, and I highly recommend it.
29/09/2025: Ricco's Antica Trattoria is a historic trattoria that offers typical Modenese cuisine. We had a half-liter of wine and still water, followed by a grilled meat with potatoes, which was good and also abundant with potatoes as a side dish, a delicious tortellone with butter and sage, very good cod fritters, and finally a tasty panna cotta. We had 2 coffees for a total bill of €56, which I consider fair. Very friendly staff.

15/11/2025: Passing by on Via Vandelli, the owners were very kind, welcoming, and friendly. The location was quite quiet and "easy going." We ate very well, with homemade food. I highly recommend it!
13/09/2025: We slept and ate at La Bizantina at the end of the first stage of the Via Vandelli, coming from Modena, and were welcomed by the very kind owners. They served traditional, authentic cuisine with local, zero-mile products. I recommend it to travellers and others!

01/02/2026: Perfect family vacation.
It was our first time here, but this hotel won us over immediately: just steps from the sea and convenient to the city center, we could easily go out on foot or by bike with the kids in the evenings. The entertainment was always there but never intrusive, the food was plentiful and varied, and the staff deserves special mention for their impeccable cleanliness. Our kids, Luca and Sofia (aged 4 and 7), had a blast, and we rested thoroughly. The value for money was absolutely excellent, in my opinion. We'll definitely be back.

06/01/2026: If you want to immerse yourself in a timeless atmosphere and enjoy EXCELLENT local food, come to Locanda S. Dalmazio. You'll delight in local dishes like tiny, flavorful tortellini in a low-fat broth, delicious ricotta tortelli, all homemade by the owner, super-soft gnocco, and crispy, fluffy tigelle. Does that sound like much? To me, it's the food of the GODS!
