26/10/2025: A typical rustic trattoria in the hills, ideal for a quick biker stop or a relaxing lunch or dinner, definitely worth a try.
14/10/2025: A regular stop since I was 15 on my motorcycle tours. It's now become the go-to place for the opening and closing of the motorcycle season. We had lunch here last Sunday; the food was excellent and the service was excellent. I recommend anyone visiting this bar to come by motorcycle, because from March to September, it's hard to find parking.

05/06/2025: I am so sad this place is closed. I am traveling to that are area in 2 weeks and was so looking forward to being there. I am American and was introduced to this restaurant and owner by my friend Marco and always loved everything about this place, especially the lasagna (once made for us) and the tortellini. My best to the owner and her family.

29/09/2025: Ricco's Antica Trattoria is a historic trattoria that offers typical Modenese cuisine. We had a half-liter of wine and still water, followed by a grilled meat with potatoes, which was good and also abundant with potatoes as a side dish, a delicious tortellone with butter and sage, very good cod fritters, and finally a tasty panna cotta. We had 2 coffees for a total bill of €56, which I consider fair. Very friendly staff.
12/09/2025: The location is clean, but dated. The food is excellent, with traditional dishes. The service is terrible. Prices are in line with other restaurants in the area.

05/09/2025: A typical restaurant surrounded by beautiful scenery. The manager is also very kind and understands us even though our Italian is limited. The welcome is warm. The value for money is incredible given the exceptional quality of what we ate. It is possible to have an aperitif with a breathtaking view of the Pompeano Castle. I would recommend everyone to stop there for a good traditional meal.
01/09/2025: A very informal place offering simple, authentic dishes at a reasonable price.
We had wild boar pappardelle and roast venison.
Both were very good.

26/10/2025: We found it by chance while we were passing through. Tagliatelle with ragù, just like grandma's, and crescentine montanare. Exceptional, an indescribable flavor, and delicious fried gnocchi! Highly recommended, but best to book.

26/08/2025: Disappointment! Great advertising, we expected more based on the way the advert presented it.
Maintenance is lacking, splash pad for children: many water games don't work, cold pool "it's not heated or it doesn't work."
The bathroom in the room is smelly, the drains smell like sewage.
Video games are very out of order.
Too dispersive (some games at the first hotel, others at the second hotel).
Don't expect the snack bar to be the same as other similar places (apple biscuits).
Flat drinks and vending machines that often jammed.
Average-to-low entertainment.
The best in Europe in what? This sentence must have some weight!
I must have been unlucky, I must have stayed at the worst hotel in the chain!!!
More expensive than other similar places and with fewer amenities!
You can get better by going to other competing chains!
26/08/2025: After years of going to the family hotel in Riccione, I found myself in a place completely different from the standard name. Aside from the location, the hotel welcomed me by letting me sleep on the sofa before giving me a room. The common areas were dirty, and the room was a 5-bed room that you wouldn't expect even in a third-world country. An experience to forget. I immediately left the hotel to find more suitable accommodation for my family, since I have three daughters.
The real family hotel is in Riccione; the one in Milano Marittima is only in name; the rest is a disappointment.

I was there with my family in June 2024, then in the following summer it is evident that the whole area has been shut down. No announcement, no plan for the future - typically Italian, I'm sorry to say...

Here, the cuisine is entrusted to a true Resdora, a custodian of ancient flavors and expert gestures, who transforms simplicity into excellence.
🍝 Standing ovation lasagna: layered with surgical precision, rich but never heavy, with a home-made ragù and a velvety béchamel sauce. Every forkful is a hug.

As for the bill, it's up to the old lady; I recommend a compliment between courses to get through it unscathed.
I don't think I'll repeat the experience.
