27/04/2025: Menu choice: classics. My first comment is that this is one of our best starry dinners ever: for the refinement of the raw materials and of some ingredients which enhanced the overall taste of the dish (in the leavened products, in the choice of shellfish and fish, in the dessert), for the preparation of the dishes (the marvelous grilling of the red snapper), for the combination of flavours, for the abundance of the dishes (not at all a given for a starry one), for the care of the location (the plasters and sanitary pads for women available in the bathroom), out of attention towards guests (feeling like guests, and not customers). A particular mention goes to the care with which some dishes were revisited and curated for the presence of a pregnant guest, without their "quintessential" nature being distorted. Thank you for the care you have dedicated to us. Thank you for the experience you gave us.

17/06/2025: Manager was so accommodating, caring, and thoughtful in looking after the four of us. Food was very tasty, authentic Italian, and reasonably priced. Staff were great, friendly, attentive to our needs. Location was a typical Italian side street, loved the whole experience.

27/06/2025: On the recommendation of a friend, four of us had dinner at this restaurant in the historic center, a little hidden from the passing tourists but a true secret treasure chest of culinary delicacies. We ordered several tasting menus adaptable to your palate, excellent food, excellent hospitality, excellent value for money. Thanks again to the owner who satisfied my requests as a vegetarian by creating an ad hoc menu for me. Highly recommended! See you next vacation!

It felt like going to a family member's house for dinner and having the best food. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. 27/06/2025: We had a truly memorable dinner at Il Guazzetto in Monopoli. From start to finish, everything was beautifully prepared and thoughtfully presented. We began with the octopus carpaccio — thinly sliced, incredibly tender, and full of fresh, clean flavors. It set the perfect tone for what followed. Next, we enjoyed the seafood pasta with zucchini flowers, which was a real highlight. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the seafood generous and fresh, and the zucchini flowers added a subtle sweetness that tied the dish together wonderfully. We also tried the cuzzecchije pasta — a rustic local specialty — which had a satisfying handmade texture and a rich, comforting sauce that felt authentically Pugliese. We paired our meal with a crisp local Sauvignon wine, which brought out the best in the seafood dishes without overpowering them. To finish, the tiramisu was light, creamy, and delicately balanced — a sweet end to a superb meal. The atmosphere was relaxed but refined, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. The location, tucked into the heart of Monopoli’s charming old town, made the whole evening feel extra special. Highly recommended for anyone seeking fresh, honest seafood with local character and warm hospitality.

04/07/2025: Fish dinner before boarding. Outdoor terrace with comfortable tables in the alley next to the restaurant. Excellent quality of dishes and quick and courteous service. Pets allowed without problems.

04/07/2025: Great, atmospheric place in a street near the port. Friendly service, delicious food, great atmosphere... plus we came across live music. Large selection of sea dishes. Prices not too high. Delicious. I recommend!!
