19/11/2025: I'd been following it on social media for a while, then I heard good things about it and wanted to try it! And I can say that my only regret is that I should have tried it a long time ago and shouldn't have waited all this time!
The venue and ambiance are simple but meticulously crafted, and the staff are courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable enough to offer the best menu choices. In fact, since it was our first time there, they recommended the tasting menu so we could fully experience the chef's cuisine!
A truly perfect choice. We tried everything from the welcome appetizer to the small pastries to finish (everything is rigorously prepared in-house, nothing imported).
The bread served warm, paired with olive oil, and the escarole pizza—I could write for hours. My favorite dish was the egg tagliolini with cacio pepe and shrimp tartare.
I'll conclude by saying that the chef has great potential here and that this restaurant is definitely a contender for top awards. Congratulations!
10/11/2025: We were at this restaurant last night, and from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness and professionalism. The welcome tasting was a wonderful idea: small, homemade dishes, meticulously prepared and bursting with flavor, perfect for introducing their style of cuisine. It was also my first time trying raw fish, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I've always been a bit skeptical, but the freshness and delicate flavor completely won me over.
I would choose the first course a thousand times over: homemade egg tagliolini with cacio e pepe and chilled red prawns, seasoned with lemon zest. A perfect balance of creaminess, savory flavors, and freshness, a true explosion of flavors that lingers.
It must be said that everything here is homemade, and you can taste it in every course. Five stars aren't enough to do justice to such a taste experience. I'll be back soon!

24/11/2025: We had dinner here for the umpteenth time and, like the previous times, it was extremely satisfying. The dishes were excellent, with old-fashioned flavors. The staff was exceptional and the constant supervision of Carlo and Domenico, restaurant experts who made you feel right at home. Highly recommended.

19/10/2025: Cold welcome and poor customer service. The staff was rude and unprofessional. There were two of us waiting to be served, and three were behind the counter. After waiting for minutes, I called the staff's attention, their backs turned, and they were joking around, but they also had something to say. We were served with an annoyed expression, spilling ice cream all over the customer. We will never return.
28/08/2025: Excellent gelateria, historic for the location, exceptional flavors, and a warm welcome. In addition to our delicious cone, we enjoyed their signature treat: the freshly made hazelnut, truly amazing! We'll definitely be back!

16/11/2025: Poor service. Music only recommended for those over 60/70. The location is small and unwelcoming. I even found a dirty glass, and when I asked for a replacement, no one came. I strongly advise against it.
02/11/2025: I haven't had the pleasure of trying this place, but I can say that the impression I got simply by calling to make a reservation was truly negative.
How can you respond to a customer calling to make a reservation: "Fondo Lazzaro, tell me?"... I was perplexed and asked him to repeat the question to make sure I hadn't made a mistake, and he repeated: "Fondo Lazzaro, tell me."
It's a real shame if this place offers so much. I hope it's not the owner who responds like that, but an employee, and that this review of mine can be helpful.
I'd love to be able to eat the things a dear friend of mine told me about.

12/07/2025: Questo posto è stata la scelta migliore che potessimo fare per festeggiare la comunione di mia figlia.La festa è stata svolta il 6 luglio 2025 eravamo 70 persone e non vi dico:servizio eccellente,sala bellissima curata in ogni suo dettaglio,la bellezza della struttura e per ultimo la chicca finale ... il cibo! Un menù favoloso,buonissimo e genuino.Tutti i miei invitati sono rimasti sbalorditi per il connubio tra struttura cibo e divertimento.grazie di tutto sicuramente il prossimo evento ritorneremo con piacere.Lo consiglio al 1000x1000

Brace & Qualità

04/04/2025: Ubicato in un incrocio ben visibile con possibilità di parcheggio abbondante. La sala è gigante, soleggiante e, volutamente, sia elegante che rustico. Hanno molto giocato sulla copula fra tradizione e innovazione, già dall'arredamento e architettura il cliente viene messo al corrente di come sarà il menù.
Camerieri conviviali, simpatici ed istruiti.
Sulla brace, ovviamente, muto, nulla da eccepire, tutto da lodare. Il cestino di pane è presentato con vari oli, tutti speciali, davvero interessante. I ravioli davvero spettacolari, al dente, callosi e con un ripieno di carne godurioso. I biscotti alle nocciole serviti col preconto per indorare il "mal di portafoglio" sono un qualcosa di incredibile.
Ahimè! ci sono state delle disattenzioni:
-Servizio lento e disorganizzato
(hanno portato gli antipasti con le braci ed un primo, poi i contori con gli altri primi);
-Candele alla genovese completamente crude, ma il sugo eccezionale, portate, peraltro, alla fine del pranzo perchè se le erano dimenticate.
Ci ritornerei e ci ritornerò perchè credo che le negatività che ho riscontrato siano state solo una casualità.
02/02/2025: La ristorazione è cosa seria: richiede competenza ed esperienza.
Sabato 25 gennaio 2025 a cena siamo in 7 e ci sistemano in un tavolo molto grande che ha reso difficile conversazione e convivialità.
Prendiamo degli antipasti misti tra i quali del buon prosciutto spagnolo (Jamon serrano e patanegra).
Poi ci servono 2 Kg di sashi finlandese ed a seguire 1 kg di black angus (servito a temperatura ambiente, orrore!).
Carne buona ma non indimenticabile.
Beviamo del chianti Nipozzano riserva.
Ricorderemo invece per lungo tempo il conto: prezzo molto alto non in linea con quanto ci aspettavamo (circa 90 euro a persona).
Da migliorare il servizio e l'offerta.

27/02/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante domenica a pranzo x il compleanno di mio marito….posso dire che abbiamo mangiato divinamente tutto buonissimo e abbondante…il proprietario il sig.Cristian molto gentile e disponibile e x non parlare del maîtresse il sig.Cesare simpaticissimo….ci ritorneremo presto……ahhh dimenticavo ci siamo stati anche di sera a mangiare la pizza….. ottima un impasto leggerissimo……complimenti
16/02/2025: Dopo circa 20 anni sono tornata in questo ristorante con amici , avrebbe dovuto essere un viaggio nel passato,tra sapori e gusti che sanno di genuino, ma ahimè purtroppo una delusione, più che viaggio nel passato è stato un incubo... piatti insapore, pasta cruda , servizio lentissimo e prezzi altissimi... la nuova gestione ha rovinato un'istituzione ... sconsigliatissimo!
