11/01/2026: I go here often and I really like it...excellent pizza and the steak is delicious. Fast and professional service. Fair price. OVER AND OUT.
05/01/2026: We happened upon this restaurant to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful meal, from the generous appetizers to the exquisite turnip main course and the excellent meat. Impeccable service. We'll definitely be back!

Antica Trattoria Di Pietro

28/12/2025: Excellent food, I recommend it to everyone.
08/12/2025: I certainly can't say I had a bad meal. All in all, the kitchen is well-equipped and the basic ingredients are high-quality, but they're still "poor" ingredients. I didn't like everything else. The atmosphere is dated, gloomy, and dark. The service is truly unprofessional, inattentive, and disorganized. No printed menu, not even after asking once and insisting twice (so no prices or allergen list). No wine list (and I wonder why those bottles were so prominently displayed on the table at the entrance to the dining room). The most disappointing aspect was the bill. Unfortunately, I can't testify to this because we didn't have a receipt and we don't know the cost of the individual dishes. We only know the prices of their wines, but only because I asked how we arrived at a bill of €248 for four people, having ordered four appetizers, one minestra maritata (a soup made with vegetables), two first courses, two second courses, three desserts (with tiny portions, by the way), three coffees, and two grappas. Well, one Aglianico IGT, vintage 2022, white label with the word "di Pietro" written on it, costs €28 (even with a non-existent nose and an unpleasant hint of tartness), one Aglianico IGT, vintage 2021, black-and-blue label with the word "di Pietro" costs €40. I've been working in the Irpinia wine sector since 2011, and until now, I'd never seen these wines, luckily. I'd pay €6-8 at the winery for a wine of this quality and €15-20 at a restaurant, so I wouldn't even spend that much for "di Pietro." In conclusion, I don't recommend this restaurant. There are better places in the area, and there's definitely the option of eating somewhere where people don't think "we're the only ones running the restaurant and making the wine."
