07/01/2026: I've only been there once, a few years ago, but the experience was truly memorable, and I wanted to leave a mark on it. From the moment we arrived, I immediately felt welcomed: the location is stunning, surrounded by nature near the Monticchio Lakes, and we had the opportunity to eat outdoors, with a relaxing atmosphere and truly enchanting views. The food was delicious, authentic, and well-prepared: typical Lucanian dishes prepared with fresh, genuine ingredients, which made the dinner enjoyable and memorable. The wine selection and the quality of the dishes also contributed to making everything perfect. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home, attentive to detail and ready to recommend the house specialties with a sincere smile. In short, even though I've only been there once, Restaino Restaurant left a truly positive memory, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy traditional Lucanian cuisine in a unique and evocative setting. I would return without hesitation. 🍝🌿✨

01/06/2026: Four of us went for lunch, and we were looking for a place that combined tradition with locally sourced ingredients. Unfortunately, we realized that despite the excellent ingredients, the service left much to be desired. Our second course was brought before the first, we were served half portions instead of whole portions, and the cod was visibly undercooked. They tried to make up for it by bringing the cod back, but only after they'd served us coffee. It's a shame, we hope it was just a bad day.

09/10/2025: An excellent lunch with genuine, homemade ingredients, delicious handmade pasta and sautéed country vegetables... a quiet atmosphere, perfect service, and a warm and friendly welcome.

23/12/2025: I found this restaurant by chance and it was a wonderful surprise. All the dishes are traditional local dishes, and in some cases, they've been beautifully reinterpreted by chef Silvana. For those like me who love the flavors and aromas of Italian cuisine, this is an absolute must-visit. A special mention also goes to Mimmo, who is incredibly kind and helpful.
