14/05/2024: By far the best eggplant parmigiana we had in Italy. We came in just before 12 and the food was just ready to be served to the lunch time crowd. All looked beautiful and everything we tried was delicious. Reasonably priced and super friendly staff. It seems to be where the locals eat which is always a good sign.

13/05/2024: Very good meal, everything is homemade, no tourists only locals. We had the €9 menu with primo secondo and contorni, we had a blast! Plus the servers are very nice!

15/02/2024: Cape is life! Street food par excellence. For connoisseurs of good food who can adapt. Family-run place that makes you feel at home with abundant and excellent quality. The cassatelle (horse meatballs with pistachio) are a must try. When other places change, in prices, quality and products, Mantellina remains the same: Excellent!

10/03/2024: Extremely happy to have tried this place. The staff/owner is fantastically kind, always ready and super efficient. Zero meter products, super good, local and local. I highly recommend their charcuterie board with hot, crunchy polenta. The meat is something wonderful and is cooked to perfection. I honestly have two regrets; the first for not having taken photos to put below for the dishes and the second for not having been able to try their first courses. Surely, I don't know when, we will definitely return and this time I will want to give myself the right amount of time to taste everything. Recommended for anyone who wants to feel full not only with their stomach but also with their head. Warmly recommended. PS I recommend booking because the place is likely to be full and afterwards you should leave with your mouth watering for the missed opportunity.

29/04/2024: In this actually classic-looking restaurant we were surprised with the highest level of BBQ art in terms of the choice of food. Whether it's the first-class grilled flank, the buttery Duroc pork steak or amazing ribs - we can only say good things. In addition, a very courteous and reliable service that was not lacking in quick-wittedness and a healthy dose of humor. Next time we would prefer to sit on the large panoramic terrace, so we will probably come back when it is warmer... THANK YOU, it was great!

02/04/2024: Excellent Tuscan restaurant, elegant and welcoming. Menu offers well-made and tasty dishes. Worth highlighting is the splendid Florentine steak which is the jewel in the crown of the proposal. The wine list is also excellent. The cost for a dinner is quite high but it is money well spent.

04/05/2024: I had been here once before and had a decent experience but tonight was not great. Someone in our party had to wait over an hour to receive her pasta dish because they must have forgotten to put to her order in. We had to ask the server several times for it and we kept being told 5 more minutes, only for it to take longer. Additionally, they brought out one of our sides long after we had finished eating. The food was decent but not anything to rave about and the service was less than mediocre. I probably will not return here.

06/04/2024: Great place with gourmet cuisine. Particular but at the same time simple combinations, even if not always right, make it a restaurant definitely worth trying. Fantastic panorama. Prices perhaps slightly high in certain contexts (as in my case during Easter Monday lunch).

25/05/2024: Ci siamo fermati qui per mangiare e ci siamo trovati davvero bene. Abbiamo optato per il menù del pranzo con il grill mix e un white mountain mix. Carne cotta al punto giusto, patatine fritte ottime. Il servizio puntuale e veloce, personale molto gentile e cortese. Locale pulito e igienizzato, consigliatissimo.

07/04/2024: The one in Belpasso (Etnapolis) has always been the best OWW in the Catania area. The difference has always been made by the staff as they are capable, professional, good-looking, very sociable but not intrusive and who believe in their work. the rest is completed by the very high quality of the raw materials and the excellent preparation of the cuisine. Large rooms Ideal for families and anyone who wants to spend a cheerful evening. Possibility to play at the end of the meal with a varied variety of board games. Five-a-side football, carom and giant screen complete the setting. In my opinion, the choice of beers offered is limited but very suitable. Medium-high prices but you pay for the quality!!! Checking the green pass and all the procedures required during this pandemic. Good fun

27/03/2024: Eravamo in giro e cercavamo un posto dove mangiare al volo, ci siamo imbattuti per caso in questo ristorante ed è stata una piacevole scoperta. Personale gentilissimo e preparato che ci ha accolto e consigliato sull'ordine. Abbiamo optato per la carne e mai scelta fu più giusta, davvero top.

19/05/2024: Esperienza da dimenticare.. effettuata prenotazione telefonica 2 ore prima dell'arrivo al locale prenotato per le ore 21:30 .. veniamo accolti da dipendente incerti e vaghi non sapevano neanche chi avesse parlato a telefono pertanto dopo 15 Min di attesa per capire cosa fosse successo mi e stato risposto di provare a ripassare tra un oretta perché al momento non vi era un posto x 2 ( nonostante la prenotazione telefonica) pessima esperienza pessima gestione organizativa delle prenotazioni e poca professionalità dei dipendenti. Una delusione.

23/05/2024: The waiters were very nice. We were three people and ordered 1kg steak, 3 potatoes and 2 salads. Everything was tasty and filling. Note that we were not asked the doneness of the steak because it is served on a sizzling plate (that heats it).

21/05/2024: This steak should tell you everything. I went here and definitely got what I wanted. The chef cooked the steak to an absolutely Perfect medium rare, which was extremely important. Overall amazing food, service, and ambiance. Definitely recommended.
