20/05/2025: Excellent fresh fish and a good choice of dishes: I went a little early and they were still setting up the counter but the fish already on display had just been cooked and was all very inviting. I had an excellent fish salad (made with fresh vegetables), stuffed cuttlefish with a side of courgettes and some very tender fish skewers, spending just over €20 for two people. Even though I ate after about 2 hours, everything was excellent👍👍👍👍

Refined seafood dishes; it's a pleasure to sample and discover ever-changing combinations.
Finally, not your typical seafood restaurant, but one that prioritizes the freshness and quality of the ingredients.
An intimate and relaxing atmosphere.
We'll definitely be back!

Super friendly staff. We sat outside in pleasant temperatures. All in all, a place to return to.

26/08/2025: I happened upon it by chance as I was passing by and I was amazed by the excellent quality of the products, especially the pizzas with a more than fair price, truly recommended.
26/06/2025: In this old bar, a great job has been done by the new owner, he has managed with professionalism and wisdom to get back on his feet a place open to the public where no one has entered for years.... in the village there were many skeptics, but at Il gusto della vita everything has changed and the quality of the products is not up for discussion, a piece of advice to the staff.... keep it up

03/09/2025: Everything was delicious, plentiful, and fresh. There's only one flaw I've noticed the last two times I've visited this place during the summer: after a certain hour, the service starts to speed up dramatically, making those sitting down to dinner feel like "superfluous," forcing customers to get up when they might want to finish their glass of wine or wait a few minutes between the last course and dessert, for example. It's truly disappointing, because the restaurant deserves it and is a small oasis of peace in the middle of the urban setting, which, especially on a summer evening, would be pleasant to savor more slowly. I'm still giving it 5 stars because they're fully deserved.
31/08/2025: The food was decent, nothing special or unheard of elsewhere. The two waiters were extremely kind and professional, a true strength of the place. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the attitude of the owner, who is also the chef: angrily addressing the waiters in front of customers is certainly not a good look. If he uses the same approach in the kitchen, it's no surprise that the dishes lack personality and flavor.

13/08/2025: Eating Osvaldo's arrosticini and pizzas always makes a holiday in Pescara special. Everything is delicious, and the owners are incredibly friendly. I've been going there for years, and the quality of their arrosticini is excellent. Highly recommended!

05/08/2025: I visited this restaurant in Abruzzo for a dinner with friends... what can I say? A truly spectacular experience! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with kindness and great availability, and the staff was attentive throughout the evening despite our large group. We ordered a bit of everything: arrosticini, perfectly cooked steaks of excellent quality, fried pizzas crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and finally, fabulous French fries and delicious vegetable side dishes, generous portions. The quality/price ratio was also excellent, especially considering the quantity and quality of the food.
Highly recommended for groups of friends, families, or anyone looking for a casual evening enjoying good Abruzzo cuisine. We'll definitely be back!
05/08/2025: Delicious delicacies and arrosticini. Fair prices. Family atmosphere. A few too many mosquitoes in the evening, but then again, it's in the open countryside. We'll be back soon.
