Great restaurant. We had an excellent bottle of wine (Amarone) and the mixed plate of Antipasti. Was amazing. Service was good and I love the children’s paintings on the menu‘s cover - Lovely idea!

Nicolo and the entire family of Vini da Gigio could not have been more charming or passionate.
The food was the summit of simplicity, texture, and Venetian freshness.
The wines were superlative - everything from a very old Veneto sparkling to a very new producer from the region.
We left with lightness in our steps and gaiety in our eyes. An evening we will remember.
With sincere thanks to this restaurant. I hope to visit again soon.

Everything was perfect: service, atmosphere, wine, and food. Excellent Venetian-style liver and superb Marchiori prosecco. The creamed cod was incredible, delicate and intense. The service was quick and courteous. We ate very well in a comfortable setting. We went with our daughter and two dogs. Super!

ALL the food was amazing. I ordered the octopus with mashed potato for starter (yum), the spider crab pasta for main(delicious), and the tiramisu for dessert (incredibly good). However the service feels rushed and they are probably understaffed. Service is not as good as the food.

Had my first meal in Italy and they did not disappoint—very welcoming staff and warm place which helped with the rainy Venice. From the fish to wine and getting suggestions for my first-ever grappa, they did an amazing job.

This restaurant is in a beautiful spot right next to the canal, and the interior has a classy and elegant Italian feel which I love. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable too. I had the octopus, which was very tender, and the polenta was excellent. I also tried their well-known crab pasta, which was just okay—I honestly wished I had ordered something else as there were so many dishes I wanted to try on their menu. Also their house white wine was excellent and I wish I remember what the label was! Overall, I would recommend this place for an authentic Venetian meal and atmosphere.
