I took two pizzas to take away and although they cooled slightly on the way home, they were really good.

Very good pizza. We found this place via the internet, it wasn't very easy to find as the navigator is a bit misleading. Excellent service and courtesy, the pizza was served to us by the pizza chef himself (it's those small gestures that make the difference), the place is very welcoming. Good quality food and fair prices. Highly recommended, we will return next time.

Been coming to this restaurant for the past 27 years since I was a child living in Campalfi and it’s never disappointed me before. Still to this day make the best pizza I’ve ever had. Owned and run by a honest and hardworking couple, this place is the perfect restaurant to satisfy your appetite with delicious local dishes. I’ll keep on visiting to have my weekly fix of pizza for many years to come hopefully. Thank you!

Abbiamo scoperto questo posto tramite una ricerca Google, ci serviva qualcosa nei paraggi del B&B. È stata una piacevole sorpresa: accoglienza calorosa e gentilezza, vino della casa buono ,antipasto con tagliere di salumi e formaggi di qualità e una pizza strepitosa! Croccante e molto digeribile, da veri amanti del cibo e della pizza in particolare, io e il mio compagno consigliamo vivamente questo ristorante.

A pleasant surprise, returning to the Vecchio Tinaio and finding a local cuisine restaurant that offers tasty and well-prepared dishes. Excellent service and normal prices.

Una buona comitiva per una buona cena. Il locale si trova all'interno di una riserva naturale e la location diventa così un punto a favore. Qui l'accoglienza è casalinga, ti fanno sentire subito a tuo agio. Dopo una breve lettura del menu' ci decidiamo tutti per un antipasto ed una pizza. Credetemi , prendete la tartare, non ve ne pentirete. Ho anche avuto modo di provare la verza al forno, mi ha davvero stupito. Buona la pizza, cotta bene e condita con prodotti di qualità. Per il dolce ho puntato come al mio solito sul tiramisù e questa volta era di quelli buonissimi. Consigliatissimo

One of the hidden gems in tuscany , near Rosia. Family ran place with wonderful meals and very friendly, they really go out of their way to please you, the pizza is fantastic one the best I ever had. If in tuscany I recommend you to visit as the place has a wonderful ambiance too.

Siamo arrivati un po’ per caso, e al limite dell’orario accettabile per pranzare. Ciò nonostante con incredibile gentilezza ci hanno fatto accomodare (grazie ancora) e abbiamo trovato una location bellissima, fresca, ma caratteristica! Eravamo già sorpresi da questo, ma una volta arrivati i piatti siamo rimasti estasiati dalla bontà! Bravi bravi e ancora bravi! Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità - prezzo!

17/04/2024: Finally, after many years, it happened again. After the tasting menu, I looked at my digestif and was: simply happy. But first things first. On a fairly rainy Easter Monday we arrived half an hour earlier than reserved, which was no problem at all. Service was quick in the rustic, pleasant atmosphere. We both opted for the tasting menu including wine accompaniment, but asked for another course; we didn't want to miss the fried artichoke with orange hollandaise (rightly, as it turned out). Our request to start the wine tasting with a Prosecco was immediately granted and the first course started quite quickly. Already after the second course it was clear that each course was deliberately tailored to 2-3 flavors that harmonized wonderfully, which the boss confirmed to us in a later conversation. This makes reducing things to the essentials fun. The order and conception of the menu were perfect for us. The wine pairing was precise, the selection was noble and demonstrated expertise. As a digestif I wanted a grappa that was soft but not too sweet or a rhum that was not too sweet. I was surprised with a grappa aged in a rhum cask called "Hija ilegitima", which at 57% vol. had a wonderful balance between softness and character, another wow moment. One thing is certain, even if it takes us over an hour to get there: we'll be back.
