Trattoria le Mossacce In Firenze

Everyone recommends going there for lunch, we went there for dinner Pleasant and informal environment, very nice staff, and the food is really good Open kitchen with chef to chat with and ask for advice Cheap, highly recommended we had a really good time

I tried this restaurant on the recommendation of acquaintances, to taste the Florentine steak. The place is small, booking is practically mandatory, if you don't want to risk not finding a seat. The welcome is informal but warm: the waiters, despite being busy serving the different tables, do not fail to make you feel like a welcome guest. The food is good: the steak was tender and juicy, just one was enough for two, accompanied by a couple of side dishes and followed by a dessert (just for gluttony, we were full enough... but how could you say no to Cantuccini and Vin Santo? ). The price is average for the type of place: from what I could see by walking around the streets and comparing prices, it is cheaper than the other options. The only not entirely positive note is that the place has no toilets: or rather, there is a bathroom, but it is in the entrance hall of a building on the corner of the street and you need to be accompanied by the staff to access it. Let's say it's one of the strangest experiences that's ever happened to me :-)

Excellent trattoria in the center of Florence. FLORENTINE staff (which is more unique than rare now) very kind and available to advise customers. Typical dishes of the Florentine tradition and modest prices.

Authentic trattoria, a bit small but doesn’t matter if you consider the quality of the food and the serving. Busy at noon, seems frequented by locals, luckily you can reserve a table on line. The Fiorentino stake it’s unvelivable and the vegetables that accompanied where excellent. Pastas ar great, of course.
