Today I happened upon the La Pieve restaurant by chance, the entrance to the place was so-so, but the internal room was very welcoming and beautiful. I ordered an appetizer of cheeses, cured meats and really good fried gnocco. Followed by pizzoccheri with delicate beans and a truly tasty apple pie made by the owner. I recommend the restaurant if you happen to be in Rivergaro because it is worth it.

Un salto nel passato dove i sapori sono autentici e il profumo ricorda la cucina della nonna la domenica mattina. Poche proposte dove la tradizione risuona e dove l'abbondanza la fa da padrona. Pisarei e fagioli che scaldano il cuore e guanciotti in umido dove il coltello può essere dimenticato. Consiglio inoltre di dedicare una mezz'ora prima di cenare al loro bellissimo aperitivo,dove è possibile degustare vini e prodotti locali, semplici ma perfettamente accostati. Concludo con un ringraziamento a tutto il personale simpatico e familiare.

The cured meat, the appetizers, the gnocco, the cheeses were excellent, the tortelli were not bad, I expected more on the tagliolini with mushrooms... The coffee wasn't bad, we only drank water between 2 and the total cost was 52 euros... Considering everything, environment and service, 4 stars for me

16/09/2023: The meat is excellent and cooked very well with exceptional sauces, the service is more than good, the Argentinian wine cellar is truly commendable and in the end the price of a dinner with excellent meat and excellent wine is little more than a pizza! It's really worth doing a few kilometres.
