Very good, I recommend it to all lovers of good food.

Historic place in Faenza, typical traditional dishes, menu with not too much variety of choice to always guarantee quality and authenticity. The home-made first courses are good, as are the second courses, famous for the roast pigeon and mutton. Among the desserts, I certainly recommend the ricotta dessert typical of the area. Staff always punctual and courteous. Well done!

We felt very good this evening. Cozy place worthy of a trattoria. Very delicious dishes including stuffed artichokes, tagliatelle and coppa and yet sausage. For those who go on holiday to Faenza you should go to Cesare or have lunch there

Restaurant like it used to be. We stopped for dinner and immediately felt at ease, it is the classic Trattoria popular with truckers that never disappoints anyone. Really low prices, which especially in these times of inflation are very convenient. Absolutely recommended.

February 17, 2024. I went in out of curiosity, highly recommended by some colleagues from Faenza who had read conflicting reviews. We ate very well. Homemade cooking...everything very good. Typical place. People welcomed. There were places like this.

Historic restaurant on the outskirts of Faenza, with a typically Romagna menu. Here, homemade pasta reigns supreme and the "dishes of the past" are revived and loved by all. I recommend this restaurant to eat like at grandma's house!!!!

It is difficult to comment on a culinary experience when the start is already uphill. The first rule of catering should be to welcome customers with courtesy and kindness, make them feel at ease and offer their product, the judgment of which will always be subjective. My experience mainly concerns hospitality, since having a small dog we were rudely prevented from entering, even annoyed, as if it were known to the whole world that dogs are not accepted in this prestigious place. I have my own ideas about this rule but since I'm not at home, two cordial words would have been enough to avoid this writing. Unfortunately I had elderly people in the car, I was coming from 20 km away and I had no alternative but to stay, but I certainly wouldn't have thought for a moment about finding another place on my own. So here I am evaluating with a different spirit this very normal place on the street, with obsolete bathrooms, without paper to dry your hands, with stagnant and unpleasant smells. The room is noisy, the service is fast but similar to a company canteen (with all due respect to the latter), the famous cod on Wednesdays is certainly pleasant but it's still cod. In my case, a lot of thorn and little pulp, remedied with a second course (naturally paid for). Good desserts. In conclusion, the expectations were normal and therefore consistent with what was received, unfortunately the reception was wrong from the start and affected everything else. It probably won't matter but we are unlikely to return.

A little dated atmosphere and a little small portions
