I have been there several times in the past years, both for drinks and coffee. I also ate and nibbled. Positive impression. Unfortunately, I never tried the rooms: I was always alone or "badly" accompanied. ;)

09/05/2024: The food, service and quiet ambiance are all 5 star. Chef Alex is extremely talented! Go and enjoy.
04/05/2024: Based on the descriptions we went to Al Bagatto. The ambience is appealing, the staff friendly, the food unfortunately fell far short of expectations: in the "Storico" menu, the troubles and first course were very good, but the main course was completely tasteless. The dessert was delicious, instead of the recommended blueberries there were 7-8(!) red currants and the portion was manageable. You can have a more delicious meal in Trieste for less money.
