It must have been a coincidence, but from what I had heard about it I had very high expectations... unfortunately the staff wasn't super prepared, I was with a friend and since the place was full (we had booked the table in advance anyway) they wanted to put us in a private room 🤔 without even asking us in advance... maybe if I was with my boyfriend it would have been pleasant but when I go to a restaurant I like to experience the real atmosphere that animates it... in any case the evening was sushi and everything was very good.

Everything simply excellent. Soft romantic atmosphere (really well looked after place in its apparent simplicity. Applause for the truly appreciated musical background). Service (attentive, precise and friendly). Really interesting and quality fusion cuisine. Well done!!

Ho pranzato con mia moglie assaggiando la degustazione da 7 portate, per provare un pò di tutto. In generale è da apprezzare la singolarità della cucina fusion italo giapponese, anche se devo dire che per il prezzo pagato ritengo la qualità probabilmente sotto le mie aspettative. Da provare in ogni caso, bella location esterna. Dentro il locale lo rivedrei più curato.

Immerso nel verde nelle campagne fra porcari e Capannoli una cucina fusion italo-giapponese Dato che il tempo ancora lo permette abbiamo cenato nel giardino ,una pace ....cibo buono e sapori particolari personale cordiale e preparato

A Michelin recommendation raise the expectations, and so it should especially considering that you’re paying a premium. Serendepico outside Lucca doesn’t live up to these expectations. It wasn’t bad, but for anyone well travelled or used to Japanese flavours you will immediately react to the fact that Serendepico misses its target by quite a bit despite the Japanese/Italian fusion approach. Michelin, you jumped the trigger on this one.
