I was with a small group tour group, and this restaurant was prearranged. The staff was ready for us and the specified time, and the tables and menu were ready. We were able to choose from three items. I chose the vegetarian lasagne. We all thought that the food and wine were great. The dining room was lovely, and the staff were extremely efficient. Great tiramasu as well!

Un peu chère pour ce que c est. On paye la vue principalement et l endroit. Ne vous attendez pas à dés miracles pour la cuisine. Mais cela va très bien pour un casse croûte.

A bit out of the way, so not so crowded with tourists. Pizza was very tasty, like at Nonna's home. The boys are trying hard. Price performance, ok, as it is in tourist areas. Dogs welcome.

Très belle endroit pour observer le lac. Malheureusement ils n'avaient plus de pizzas ni de glaces.Dommage

08/09/2023: Tavoli esterni vista lago. Arriviamo e aspettiamo che qualcuno ci faccia accomodare. Ignorati, chiediamo noi di poterci sedere, con tanto di prenotazione. Alla fine il servizio è stato svolto esclusivamente da due ragazzini, chiaramente inesperti ed impacciati. Per quanto si apprezzabile l'impegno, il servizio risulta molto acerbo, a volte basterebbe anche solo un sorriso in più per aiutare il tutto. Pizza comunque buona e prezzi nella norma.

Varenna Caffe'

22/10/2023: A great cafe with amazing views of the lake! We stopped here for some food and coffee and it didn’t disappoint. We got the carbonara and lasagna and both were delicious. We did notice in the menu they were labeled as “frozen ready meals” which I’m not sure if that means they are premade and heat them up? But the food was still really good so we didn’t mind. Also got this green tea and pistachio ice cream combo which was good but a little overpriced ( 10€ ). All in all though a great place to rest and enjoy the views!
24/09/2023: A superb location in the heart of Varenna, right next to the lake, with a splendid view; good, straightforward food; good drinks; good prices. But what made it special for me was the excellent, friendly, attentive service. I ate there twice; each visit was delightful.
